Yes they will; most likely because of the emperor but ML isn't going to give up that easily.
From a trailer , she says as much, she says she regrets having breaking up with him. I think it is only a way for her to keep him safe, they will be getting back together, I think.
from some history books, like -by Warren Carrol, it's shown that males had absolute authority over their households,…
In fact, the men in the family of Hua are good people, besides the male lead, look at the grandfather, the uncles, and the ex fiancee of the female lead, all good people, of course if one wants to focus only on the bad guys overlooking the good ones.....
While the series was going extremely well, the incident in the 18th and 19th episodes of the series when Hua Jing,…
I think all make sense, the daughter is described as a spoiled brat, she married the man of her own choosing with huge dowry from the family and she still thinks she can take what she wants. Her husband thinks her side of the family had no more standing in the society and he could just take what he fancies. He fancies the maid he saw and his wish is her command as she wanted badly to regain some standing in the household. I didn't read the book, I find the series flows beautifully and I am totally enjoying it.
teasers are misleading, they merely highlight sth, like a micro photography.... one really doesn't know the bigger…
Yes, and there are various misleading videos too posted in youtube by some youtubers, they write misleading subtitles, make up their own stories and pass them on as if they were real. What a nuisance.
A quick paced and good storyline drama. The cast did a great job, from the servants to the leads, all so fitting and well directed, I find myself setting myself up to watch new episodes at 7am in the morning (time zone difference) amid getting ready to go to work..... There aren't too many costume dramas this well casted, directed, shooted and produced. I do hope others in the industry know that quality is the essence of success and strive to improve.
This is really a good drama to go to after The legend of ShenLi. I truly like the story, the cast covering roles, big and small, all come together to deliver the viewers a heart warming, refreshing, well played story. Love it.
I have been thinking about the emperor, and I think I have made some headway in understanding his gameplay. The…
Good thinking and great efforts in sharing it. I find myself in agreement with you, I even went further in thoughts, perhaps the emperor has something to do with the death of YX's mother? But I can't work out the reason, I don't see any apparent connections. Anyway, this is a good drama indeed, and a good place to go to after The Legend of Shen Li, yes, I love costume dramas, and am a sucker of happy endings..
Watched all the episodes and the ending!!! What a rare, great finish !! Zhao Li Ying herself producing the drama has indeed made the difference in the most positive terms. Story telling, sceneries, fight scenes, special effects, CGI, selection of the cast, their performance are simply a combined work of artl! Rewarding the viewers with the most satisfactory and well delivered ending is so hard to come by these days, most last episodes of all dramas are always rushed and some even ambiguous or tear-jerking, leaving us wanting, sad, saying to ourselves "why spend so much time chasing the show after all ?" Well, this time I said good bye to The Legend of Shen Li smiling and a grateful heart, certain to come back to rewatch all the episodes again soon.
I feel this way too. And there is scenes that XZ gift SL a rabbit lantern, just like in PA where he gifted her…
Ah yes, the rabit lantern scene, of course! And there's this other scene in Princess Agents in which she fell from high up and he caught her. In Legend of Shen Li, he caught her too when she fell from the roof due to exhaustion after trying to fight off the devvious fireballs in the heavenly realms where she was a guest attending a floral feast.
If anyone starts thinking what to watch after saying goodbye to this drama, I recommend "Blossoms in adversity" started ony a couple of days ago. I find it surprisingly good in production, storywise, cast and cinematography.
This drama is, I thnk, a kind of gift / closure that Zhao Li Ying and Lin Geng Xin wanted to give to the audience of Prince Agents which ended with a colossal, totally brutal cliffhanger, not only for the fact that they are together as a couple but for the several scenes delivered in this drama replicating others produced in Princess Agents, the underwater scene, for example. I so appreciate their efforts and hope, in my wildest dream, that having seen such a terrific response of viewership of Legend of Shen Li with them together, some investors, producers will push for a season 2 of Princess Agents.
From which country are you? Your comment is 42 minutes ago, but mine here is already 5 april while your is 4?
Regardless of our country of origin, the air time reference simply needs to be based on China standard time zone. We should expect all remaining episodes on April 5 at 20.00 hrs (8.00pm) CST (China standard time).
I didn't read the book, I find the series flows beautifully and I am totally enjoying it.
