I have always loved to watch dramas in which the main leads, or one of the two, is smart, outwitting devils. The ML here is all that and his match is the king who is so deep in manipulations and so ruthless. He traps people, taking lives like drinking a cup of tea. I want to see him shedding tears, repenting and paying for his sins.

Wow, I didn't move from my couch for the longest time, what a thriller, great story, excellent performance and wonderful production. I do hope Disney+ will give us a season 2, this season has left the door wild open.
The story plot is not too weak but for it to capture viewership, it should have been written much better and more interesting. Failing to do so. The drama delivered is mediocre, production, performance of the cast included. It is one of the many dramas that do not deserve any particular attention or praise.

The story is refreshing, the entire cast did excellent job, great performance from top to bottom, from the guards, the maids, the old man servant, the uncles, aunties, to the queen, king, princes, everyone, young and old, a joy to watch. Dialogues well written and delivered, fighting scenes, sceneries, sequences all well delivered. It has been quite a while since I enjoyed a custom drama this much.

This is one of the rare dramas that provide a wholesome story from start to finish, not one episode is a filler, every episode has something significant to tell, adeguate time is alloted to provide a proper ending (a rare decision), the screen writer truly did a great job. If I ever decide to read the book as well, it would be because I want to prolong the life of the drama in my mind and not because there are inconsistencies in the making of this perfect, wonderful drama.
