I was so blindsided by that whole chunk that it almost made me drop the whole thing but I persevered purely because of their chemistry and the fact that while the screenwriter seemed to veer off-track randomly, the director actually had a knack for making even the most simple, non-spoken scenes into poetry. My absolute fav is still the rain scene in the beginning when Tien tells his mum that Muey is not the person he wanted for him and their seemingly lonely walk together back to Muey's house. It still gives me goosebumps. Even the BGM was just amazing in certain parts. I mean, they clearly had these two absolute powerhouse of actors and they wasted them on this botched up mess of a story. I think Tien was attracted to her from the beginning and he did start to feel something for her, especially when they pumped him up with alcohol and delivered him to Muey, pretty ribbon and all hehehe. But I was taken aback by his sudden determination to save the very marriage that he was trying to end just an episode ago. I mean, every method that Muey was using to get a divorce was actually pre-planned by Tien himself so *shrugs*
I didn't know it was Anne's production house or that it had been delayed for a year or so. It only came on my radar after it had aired an episode or 2. But now that I remember, the same thing happened with The Crown Princess as well. It was so beautiful aesthetically but so hollow story-wise. It too had the potential to be something great but it ended up being nothing special.

Yasss! I really hope this little experiment of their proves successful so that we can have even more dramas being broadcasted daily. Heck, I'll be over the moon even if they did a Mon-Fri broadcast hehe. but really, there needs to be a decent rating for them to even repeat this experiment again so here's hoping!
Definitely! I still remember, it was such a pain because I think Viu picked it up quite late and it still wasn't available in certain locations, Muse was locked and LG was taking ages. It was a decent first couple of episodes. I had read the novel for that one too while waiting for subs and I knew it wasn't going to be pretty but I didn't expect it to be such a trainwreck. Which is one of the reasons why I was so gun shy about this one. I had waited ages for MHIL to be subbed and in the end it was just ://

I mean, no offense to the other drama, but they could've very well finished it when we had that break in-between... But those slots would've probably been used up by other dramas :/
I mean, I'm usually ok with waiting. Thai is like 2 episodes/week, but Turkish is only 1 (but it's a long-ass episode).. Same with Taiwanese, only 1 small episode/week... but I guess the reason why this is messing with me, and probably with you too, is because we've read the novel and we know for a fact that we're gonna get an uninterrupted supply of this good stuff... Ugh, and I haven't even started watching it yet!!

It's like a day and a half for me to stream it with subs :'(

I was planning on watching it when I had a good 10 episode buffer but now I don't think that will be possible... Still, I think I'll wait it out till after the time leap because while I love the angst, I hate waiting to know what happens next :P
