It doesn't need to pass censorship. It's not airing in China. It's not technically even a Chinese production as…
Absolutely, which is why I fully support this series, especially after finding out that the production team found a way to release outside of China to bypass the ban. I wasn't aware of this before the comments on this thread but know I know and it makes me love it even more.
People complaining here that this is a bromance didn't watch the way Wu Bi keeps glancing at Su Yu and what about that bike scene in episode 5??? I have no idea how that passed censorship. It's a great series, I'm not even comparing it to the original, these characters stand on their own and they have so much chemistry!
I’m having an issue with bromances in cdramas, queer bating is definitely not fun for my community so I’ve…
It's not queer baiting for ffs. The producers can't make it in any other way because of the Chinese government. Everybody who knows the source material understands that it's a gay story.
Taiwanese dramas really need an upgrade to 2023, they keep using the tired same formula, in the same cheesy, slow-paced type of production. I was excited for a new Puff Kuo but I don't think I can suffer through this. The worst offender: that horrendous soundtrack. I'd rather rewatch an oldie but goldie.
