Unpopular opinion, I'm satisfied with the ending...it does not need more scenes.....Although now I'm curious WTH…
I'm fine with the ending as well! The twins sacrificed a lot, it would be too easy for them to just return and everything is dandy. The realms finally get along and the sisters are united. Plus it's open to a possible second season. All good for me =)
I just wanted to give a shout-out to the screenwriter for taking the novel’s content and imo taking it to a more pleasant romantic route. From the bits and pieces I’ve read, I would not have enjoyed the original story!
This was such a surprisingly epic drama for me! I was generous with my rating as I would have deducted due to my lack of interest in the void realm. However, this drama was extra with the pace, humor and intelligence so it's a full 10 =) I think I would've enjoyed it more if I weren't spoiled every single step of the way. So thanks to those that don't know what the spoiler tag does and those that watch the credits/trailers and reveal the plot to everyone.
As for those throwing tantrums over the ending, like I get it, ya'll want it spelled out with rainbows and sunshine. I mean the twin flowers were reborn and the MLs will wait for however long it takes. It's pretty blatant that they get their happy ending. Honestly, even if it were a sad ending, it was still a great drama and I'm grateful for the journey. Would love a second season!
The part where he said "This day has finally come" got me too T.T
I think Chen Xing Xu is doing a great job. When Yetan said he was the stupidest person in the world, the expression on his face and the way he held his hands together was so endearing <3 It was a perfect response to her words XD
