The torture continues.... CJM fights against his destiny to be DG... by sacrificing himself. (Good to see Xiaoyao Sect has a powerful spell like that. See, it isn't all fun and games in that sect. They could be serious too). A friendly voice tells him he could do better. And he does, by escaping the abyss..... for a little while anyway.

...Up until sperm donor invites Sect Leader Qu and LSS for a swim in Heaven Lake😅😅😅 That's the cue for you to turn off your device and pretend that you're watching LSS and CJM's wedding. 🤣😅

This ep starts nicely tho, don't worry. The preparations for the nuptials are so cute to watch.

It's simply loathsome how sperm donor deceived the most trusting and honorable Sect Leader Qu... evil destroys everything it is not.

SJ and our foxy and her general cameos are very welcome. Shame there isn't more.

It even wraps up sooo nicely here... TTJ reconciling his destiny as DG and his diligence as an immortal disciple, XL and YBC reuniting, everybody being happy for the upcoming nuptials, CJM casting the Sketch spell.... and of course, the most favorite part, that 💋💋💋

In hindsight, if there's something that I would have liked to happen here, it's the Xiaoyao Sect stepping up to defend CJM, or at least if they really believe he was DG, take him into their custody as their responsibility. That way all the torturing could have been avoided altogether. Buuut that's just me.

Terrific acting by LYX btw, at that scene where TTJ realizes LSS has the evil bone. Even without the narration, I could easily understand something was wrong.

ahhh, but what if SY and JM were able to activate the evil bone in LSS's body and turn her into Devil Goddess instead of TTJ?? 🤣 This is such delicious fodder for a fanfic🤣

CJM using the DG's power to save the townspeople is truly a "Damned if you do, damned if you don't" dilemma. Did his end justify his means? From what we saw, he was despised by the townspeople and tortured by the immortals anyway.

In real life, is hurting/killing a robber justified if the purpose is to protect a loved one? One would still go to jail anyway, right?

... because if you wanted this drama to have a HE, this is the point where you stop. 🤣
You'll miss out on the real end of the Devil God, but what is that compared to our lovers having their happy ending? 😄😅
