Out of the blue, he now became a parental figure to a baby in his early 20's . That's a big change for everyone. Sometimes the way people comment on here scares me. Everyone seems to have such an extreme perspective on everything without trying to put themselves in their shoes.

He threw the statue because he was hurt. She panicked because him taking off the prosthetic literally brought back all her trauma. He didn't realize why she changed her mind and the reason was because of her fear of rejection she will have to once again have to experience. Nobody was 'in the wrong' here. It's not even about that. They didn't present it 'poorly' as you said, they left it open for the viewer to determine and understand based on their life experiences. They don't have to spell everything out. I'm sorry but you didn't understand it as well as you think you did.

I don't think you understood the meaning of this scene and your interpretation is very superficial in my opinion.

It seemed like a typical western wedding which is why it peaked my interest. After some research in that case white is then considered disrespectful in chinese culture. It is said that wearing white to a wedding should be avoided since it is considered to bring bad luck to the newlyweds. Either way, it seems out of place in both western and Chinese weddings.

I have to agree with you. The characters still feel two-dimensional. We're almost done and I still feel like I barely know them. Based on Episode 1, I thought it had serious potential. But now, I find it to be incredible mediocre. I cannot find one thing I really love about this. Everything is just meh.

Exactly! What woman in her right mind would quit her job after a one night stand? That is insanity.

Can only speak for myself..my rating was 8 during the first 6 episodes or so but I lowered it to 7.5. The story feels like it’s going nowhere and there is minimal character development. I was also hoping they would work on their relationship more, but more attention seemed to be given to the SML. Last few episodes have been somewhat disappointing to me.

It really is. Definitely my favorite of this year’s releases!
