I love that Korean actors who have played gay characters in the past are getting more and more mainstream roles. It's in sharp contrast with Chinese actors playing gay characters and then getting blacklisted from the Chinese film industry.

Now if only gay Korean actors could come out in their personal lives without getting blacklisted but... baby steps, we are on the way 🙇‍♂️

Exactly my thoughts too! Its actually really cute how much they love each other in the manga but have vastly different "love languages" and I'm not really getting that in the show personally. Altho the show is definitely cute and they nailed the character appearances IMHO.

The only complaint I have so far is that in the manga, Ai was equally as obsessed and in love with Hideaki, he just didn't outwardly show it. But without getting all his internal dialogue, I feel like the show makes it seem like Ai is only "kind-of" into it compared to Hideaki. Maybe that's just me though.

Ha Seok Jin is a dream though. I can't believe how young he looks in this, especially he was in To My Beloved Thief earlier this year and looked 20 years older in that.
