Gojo Seiji as a character... oh what a deranged man, it was delightful to see those plot twists all at once, great writing imo.

I just watched it unsubbed (my Japanese is not great) and I'm so glad I did, it's so funny and interesting and heartwarming and😃😭 I love how many people come to love Arisu. Towards the end it's more of a mystery drama than anything but it was overall pretty good.

I also don't really understand the chemistry bits🥲 after ep 5 I guess it's more about the mystery of what (or who) really caused the fire that killed Arisu's mom, and why did Kousei's father commit suicide. There's like 10% romance every episode but I thought it was cute, if you like mystery dramas then I'd recommend you continue watching, otherwise not really? but it really gets more and more interesting, there's a great plot twist at the last episode.
