Oh my goodness, if you want a show with complex characters and you are fine with watching C-dramas, I would recommend Lost You Forever.
When this drama was airing, I was ALL over the comments because everyone had different stance with the characters. Mostly Tushan Jing and Xiang Liu. Please do not be scared by the amount of episodes, it is just two season. But I REALLY RECOMMEND if you love layered and complex characters. YES! I ABSOULUTELY AGREE. I also made a discussion talking about Yichen's behavior and the stockholm syndrome part. (Not sure if you are saying you agree that is it or it isn't) But overall, I agree.
okay so my comment won't be as insanely detailed as the psychologist in these comments (sarcasm), but ppl who are actually hating on lu feng GENUINELY need to take a look at Yi Chen. Yichen is the one CONTROLLING the relationship, and nothing can change my mind. I originally missed a few episodes but kept up, and I was looking at these comments and they were giving opinions (or like trying to persuade people) that lu feng was evil and he is crazy and he needs to stay away from yichen, even as going to prison. And I won't lie, I was convinced. UNTIL I watched the recent episodes. This HAS to be like maybe a majority of you guys' first time watching a show like this. And as a person who has seen show like these where the victim HAS/HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WALKKKKKKKKK AWAY FROM THE SITUATION BUT NEVER DOES BUT THEN IT NEVER FAILS TO SHOCKS ME HOW PEOPLE STILL HATE (which is reasonable) ON THE PERPETRATOR.
