For those criticizing the liplock kisses in this drama, we need to understand that some leads are not comfortable with filming real kisses. But you can watch He Yu deliver one of the hottest kisses in dramaland in minute 18 of the last episode of My Fated Boy.

Person He Yu
I had a hunch when I watched My Fated Boy years ago, that he would go far in his acting career, such a good actor, so much charisma, here wishing him much success

I was the opposite of you: I only watched Speed and Love because I loved He Yu in My Fated Boy (one of my favorite C-dramas) lol

Hmm about to start this, everyone says they discovered He Yu in this
True, he was only 24 and such a good actor that I fell in love with him in this drama, and the reason why I watched Speed and Love.

My AI friend said it better:
It is a widely held international perception that some South Korean netizens, often referred to as "K-nets," can be harsh and engage in severe online harassment. This reputation is fueled by high-profile cases of cyberbullying directed at public figures, which have had tragic consequences.
Harsh media culture: Gossip and news websites often report extensively on celebrities' private lives, which provides a platform for critical comments. The organized nature of some fan bases can quickly turn into coordinated boycotts or harassment campaigns.
Anonymity and impunity: The internet provides a degree of anonymity that allows individuals to express themselves with far greater freedom than in person. This has, in some cases, led to a more aggressive online environment where people feel empowered to engage in harmful behavior without immediate accountability.

Just for your information, we, old members of MDL, have learnt long ago to ignore comments from people who create accounts just for the purpose of spreading hate or promoting a specific artist or drama. We call them bots, so good luck to you.

I don't understand the purpose of your rambling... cities, snookers, sports rivalries, basketball games.... Are you asking for feedback about this drama? Because if you want to post your -long- opinion, it's better that you post it in the reviews section. And just out of curiosity, who the F cares about where a movie or TV series is filmed as long as it adapts to the script? People familiar with productions know that locations are selected wherever is cheaper or there are tax reductions, and art directors make up for the rest. Can't see why producers in China wouldn't do the same.

As to why C-dramas use fake names for cities, it's not only in TV but also books and movies, to navigate strict government censorship, avoid legal issues, and create fictional worlds that better fit the script without needing to be real-world-accurate, allowing for themes like corruption or historical revision that might otherwise be blocked, and also have creative freedom to change geography, politics, and culture in the stories avoiding criticism from residents or exposing real-world problems that contradict the official narrative.

Title Shine on Me
why?
I started liking this type of green forest drama after I fell in love with Amidst a snowstorm of love. I'll watch SOM after I finish Speed and Love, which is also like that so far.

My comment was not for you, but for CriticaSinFiltro, I have NO idea why you're replying to me.... I can see you just joined, have rated only 1 drama, but you need to get familiar with the order of comments in threads in our chats.

I was going to ask you what made you think that this drama is a spy thriller since that genre is not listed even in imdb, so I could watch it (I like spy thrillers) but then I saw that you gave 9.5 to Love Scout... and 9 to Business Proposal... and just gave up.
