First I am going say this to you. Defaming some as a murder could get you introuble. Many fans of Zhao Liying…
I just went to your profile and actually, I'm the one who's going to report you for being a paid bot for Zhao Li Ying: Out of the 53 dramas you've completed, you rated "10" three dramas by Zhao Li Ying, and rated "1" the other 50 dramas. First of all, if any of those dramas looked like a "1" for you, you would have dropped them during the firsts episodes instead of completing them (honestly I have no idea how you could think that you're deceiving us). So I'll report you, because we don't need members like you in our community, who come here only for marketing and/or fan servicing purposes, and if that wasn't enough, insult and spread hate about other actresses.
is it a reco for someone who doesnt watch historical cdramasđĽş
Not really, there are much better ones. I'll send you a PM with my recommendations, because if I list them here, I'll be attacked by the fans of the leads.
I finished Shadow Love, To my Beloved Thief, and Generation to Generation in a row. I haven't updated my list, but I gave 8 to the first 2 and 8.5 to the third one. I'm a picky raterđ... but they were very entertaining, with original romance plots, I'd say give them a try (of course, you'll need to watch at least the first 4 eps of each to be sure). I'll start A Splendid Match next week, crossing fingers....
i know a lot of his fans are like, retirees. that's why you can afford to spend hours pouring over his news and…
bye felicia....Why are you here? Why are you even a member of a community about Asian shows? Let me judge you without knowing you, like you're judging KSH without knowing him and without having reviewed the evidence either. You have ONLY completed 7 shows, in almost 4 years, and the highest rating you gave was 2.5.... Your comment plus this 'evidence' shows that you're only here... to spread hate, and certainly not because you like Asian dramas or movies...
You created your account today, just to comment about the posted article. Please be aware that we, long-standing members of this community, know all about haters like you, that come to our community with the only purpose of spreading hate about many artists, and not to share our dramas' opinions.
girl.. I donât know whatâs soo âwohoooâ about this post.. đ
Dear Perroamor, did you just created your account here, today, just to comment of this post? Let me inform you that we long-standing members of this community cannot report just anyone we want (to avoid haters) so we need evidence. But we can can report users who insults other members (the evidence is in your comment). Either delete your comment, or apologize to Lordzgrim, Or I'll report you.
Kinda confused by your comment⌠still so gorgeous, yes, definitely, but you gave an almost 20 year old show…
I wrote: He's still so gorgeous, it means that he is still gorgeous. The comment about Get Karl Oh Soo Jung is a separate sentence (no preposition or conjunction joining both sentences) đ And I agree with you, still stunning at least in Never Twice which I started to watch but have it on hold.
Welcome, new member. Also, unless you have a fortune-telling certificate from Harmony Grove Spiritualist Association or the IMPART organization ---so we can try to believe your prophecy--- you and other haters like you will have to wait to see what happens.
A 9.1 rating doesnât just appear out of nowhereâitâs because a large number of viewers genuinely connected…
It's definitely a very popular drama, although to be fair its verified rating in MDL is 8.8 (less than Hidden love, twinkling watermelon, flower of evil, guardian the lonely god, etc), and has only 26 thousand ratings. But I think that the controversy started with the news of fabricated views by Tencent, here the google summary: ⢠The Glitch: Controversy began around March 7, 2026, when fans discovered a bug on the Tencent Video (WeTV) platform. Users reported that merely clicking on the show for a few seconds registered as a fully watched episode in their viewing history. ⢠Inflated Engagement: Chinese netizens observed the dramaâs popularity index skyrocketing suspiciously, leading to accusations that Tencent (the platform) was manipulating engagement data. ⢠Data Manipulation Claims: Further serious allegations suggested that watching even one second of the show through linked Douyin (TikTok) content would register as a full view on Tencent and Yunhe data trackers. ⢠Response: Tencent acknowledged a "display error" on March 9, 2026, stating it was a technical glitch that did not affect internal or external "official" data metrics. ⢠Industry Backlash: The incident sparked a wider conversation about the integrity of drama ratings in China, with some media outlets calling for better oversight of "black box" data metrics, suggesting that despite the high numbersâsometimes reported over 3.4 billionâactual viewer engagement was being heavily debated. ⢠Suspicious Metrics: Despite the controversial high viewership of Tencent and Yunhe Data, the drama only held a 6.6/10 rating on Douban.
As European, just curious what you mean with stereotypical?đ
Good for you (seriously, without sarcasm) that your neighbor broadened your horizons. I was raised in South America which has huge chinese communities, I've lived in San Francisco and Los Angeles also with huge chinese communities, and I've vacationed in 39 countries around the world (more than once in several of them). But it was only in 2021 that I watched my first C-drama and I couldn't believe how gorgeous the lead was. I remember I got hooked in youtube videos watching the hottest chinese male models and actors (and sending them to my friends LOL) And how tall they were!! Truly, I was so amazed that I even read a whole research article about how the chinese government started the National school milk program in 2000 in some major cities to increase the people's height (bones and nutrition) and then expanded it to a lot of cities. It was so effective that the chinese men gained a lot of height, the average 19-year-old increased in height by 8 cm (3 inches) and by 2019 the average height of 19-year-old men had reached 176 cm (5'9"). Amazingly, it's still today the fastest height growth rate globally in history. I guess I'll have to visit China in the future to broaden more my horizons because all that living and vacationing didn't work, never met a chinese guy who was gorgeous, not in parties, studying, working. I mean what a very rotten luck LOL

I don't agree that he by himself will change any stereotypes, BUT you're speaking nonsense because THERE ARE stereotypes in the US, where I graduated from college and currently live, Stereotypes not only about how chinese guys look, but about how guys from other countries look (latin, indian, etc). Also, at least in Spain and France (that I visit very often and have many friends there) is the same. In fact, every time that I show women friends and colleagues in the US and those other 2 countries, photos and videos of C-dramas male leads, they get so impressed, always saying they've never imagined chinese guys to be so handsome and tall.
Your comment makes me guess that you may be very young, because her life is not over because of KSH. She was 13…
Please apologize for calling me names or I'll report you. Here in MDL everyone must be respectful. And my comment was only in response to your blame game: "the poor girls life is over because of him".
