I don't really know how the ratings work here but seeing the ratings go above 9 for most episodes, I'm surprised this has stayed at 8.5 for maybe 9 days? Hope it goes higher, it really deserves more!

That is crazy danggg this plot about the two are so interesting and we are getting to see Yanan shine even more through his acting, my talented boy 😭

Yeah I hope he doesnt die, I am scared 😭😭😭😭 The amount of care he has for Ji Ling :( The relarionship between these two are so precious to me, I wish they had delved deeper into their relationship but its okay 😭 Their scenes really carry a lot of emotions too 🥺☹️

yeah the moment he started punching Li Jie with those evil facial expressions (in Ep.19 after he said he'll steal his body), I immediately thought that was Yuan Wuhuo then Ji Ling tested him and I'm like, "Am I wrong or what?" but then like the more I thought about it, the more I thought it's not Li Jie. Like would Li Jie really punch Yuan Wuhuo like that? Highly doubt it. Doesn't feel like his character at all. Then I'm confused at the same time cuz man, Yuan Wuhuo... doesn't he care about his brother, Yuan Xizai? From my understanding, I thought Li Jie IS his twin, Yuan Xizai... unless I'm understanding incorrectly. He never treats Li Jie like his own brother, Yuan Xizai. It doesn't even feel like he cares about Li Jie compared to how much he cares about Yuan Xizai ksjdhfjkhdk Plz clear it up for me cuz I've been very confused as HELL

I'm never gonna find another drama I'm so obsessed with as much as I am with this one, I will never get that feeling again watching another and it kinda makes me sad but it shows how special this drama is to me :( I'll never be able to feel it again with another show in the future 😥 I need to rewatch this soon hahahaha... and the OSTs are soooo special that listening to it again just makes me miss the drama even more 😭

lol why am I pissed off that a lot of scenes are from flashbacks instead of the present time, for some reason it makes me sad and a lil disappointed cuz I wanted more present time memories but oh well kjsdhfkjskfd

Watched Ep.19 and the ending broke me like wdym Wuyi has to die to get rid of Jiuying, I could really feel Ji Ling's pain when he said that and when he realized what had to happen 😭😭😭 Tian Jiarui's song playing (same as Jingyi's) in the bg while flashbacks of their happy memories play in the bg make me bawl even harder 😭😭😭😭

That honestly sucks so much. I love the FL so much in PA bc of how she always fights for herself. The fact that she becomes the complete opposite here makes me question if I should even give this drama a try. I decided to pick PA back up after dropping it last year and I am loving/enjoying it much more than I initially did maybe cuz I just wasn't in the mood for it at the time. But I def won't watch Rebirth right after cuz I know I am gonna compare a lot. Not even sure if I will try it tho esp bc of that reason (FL being a damsel in distress) but also the rating..... we'll see when more time has passed

I can't! I literally dropped this in the middle of Ep.14 last year and decided to pick it back up again and man... I already loved Yanxun and had SLS but now after going 20+ episodes, I have the worst SLS ever after soooo long!!! Can't think of the last time I had SLS as bad as this (or even just SLS in general). I think it's rare to find it in CDramas at least for me! I literally can't, he literally feels like the ML! I know he'll get darker later on but this guy is so interesting to watch and the ML for some reason is just boring to me. Plz don't come at me if you feel different. I am just stating my own opinion. I love complex characters so I am looking forward to Yanxun character villain(?) arc. Anyways, I love Yanxun. He has amazing chemistry with the FL. I can't feel it with ML and FL at all. Anyways I am staying bc of the 2ML x FL but its also more interesting than I had initially thought a year ago. I am glad I decided to try it again cuz its not bad! So far, I am giving it an 8.5!

Edit: So after watching the whole thing, I don't ship the FL with anyone. Am I the only one? I understand why she doesn't choose the 2ML bc their paths are different. He didn't understand what she wanted and did things he thought was best for her but it didn't make her feel better. Though I understand 2ML in a way bc of his family but there were choices of his that would make me become like the FL if I were in her shoes. It's rlly sad how he came to me esp bc she trusted him so much and the future and dream she saw with him isn't what came to reality 😥 But I also don't understand how she falls with the ML bc they barely spent time together.... like actual quality time to get to know each other. It makes no sense. So after 40+ eps when it looked like she started gaining feelings for him, it felt so forced. Especially that forced/sudden kiss without her consent (while she was talking about Yanxun) that I don't even support and she doesn't do or say anything??? Feels so weird and off to me. Esp after finding out towards the end that her family and his were also enemies, her choosing him doesn't make sense... it just felt forced. I stay for the plot and the martial arts, not the romance which I'm relieved they didn't show much. Despite all this, I really did enjoy the drama tho! 🫶🏻

ikrrrr when I think about how they play different roles and have to act a certain way in each scene, I'm just like... man, what did the actors go through LMAO they're all so talented to be able to know how to act in specific scenes skjdfhskdh esp since they also don't film in chronological order LOLLL
