i thought the lab experiment was pretty clear despite not explained bluntly? just a bunch of rich people investing on research for red pill, be it greed for being immortal (dr. nam), finding cure for family (jeonbok), or ego to play god by making super child (ha wondo). plus the whole cult theme is just how those rich people circulate all dirty money. but i also wish to see more chaeni-unjeong grow up story and where their parents are, but i can wait for s2 for that haha

I truly love the branding and how they took inspiration from traditional art "Najeonchilgi" a beautiful craft using iridescent inner layers of a shell. Watching many korea shows I usually notice this craft in many household with the form of lacquerware, these holo like visual with the contrast of dark background that is so enchanting. Finding this in a drama series is so magical. 🥹💖

From the logotype, animation intro, and the ending credit with a simple glow motion. You see, all these handcrafted human made art for branding gave the story a lot more depth and more emotional impact for audience. More reason for any filming company to throw away all those AI slop engine, they won't ever replace human!! 🫧🐚🦪⚪

i don't really enjoy shounen level up format story because most of it is nonsense power up game and the protagonist just become strong/smart automatically, but i like this drama offer more depth to the genre and connect it to the mc's background and his underlying mental health. i wonder if he has accepted his father's death.. will those game pop up disappear?
