Nicely said. I agree. They learned how to love so well by watching their wonderful parents. They were lovely, warm, kind people.

It turns out that broadcasting those two during the same time period was great for us viewers. We get the best of both genres and have both to switch between. One is a melodrama—heavier, darker, and serious, but still so warm, gentle, and healing. The other is light and sweet with a calming, Springtime, romantic vibe. Both so nice. 💕

Hence, she is the ex-Sister-in-Law (that is, former sister in-law, not “ex” because YiFan’s parents never divorced, he was deceased, so not her Ex).

So, Aunt is not even YiFan’s mother’s sister-in-law, which adds to the absurdity of this situation. She was YiFan’s father’s sister-in-law.

I kinda didn’t like how Dr. He swooped in like a savior when XiFan was finally articulating her hurt and anger to Yan Heng. Just when she was on a roll, standing up for herself, telling Yan off, then Dr. He came swooping in. Like, why?

I noticed that too. Probably for the best. It was probably best for him to lip kiss when she was clear-headed not a sobbing mess. The kiss when they became official was more appropriate.
