I love her adult-version of Miao Jing, but the baby-voice and mousy personality of the teenage Miao Jing grated my nerves. So, I am glad we are in the adult era. She’s badass as an auditor—very capable, take-charge and no-nonsense. I like what Zhang Jingyi is doing with this role.

L&P ML character was too rude and arrogant for my liking. ML character here in LFY makes me want to fall in love because he’s so attentive and devoted to the FL. FL character here is more badass, like the other commenter said. She was a a pitiful simp in L&P, in my opinion. The L&P love scene also was too heavily edited so it fell short for me. I don’t remember any good skinship scenes in L&P. Even though, it doesn’t sound like it, I did actually enjoy that drama. But, “Love For You” romance is better. “Lighter and Princess” story was better, but the romance was toxic.

Same, everything you said. I literally bumped my rating up to a 10 immediately after this episode, in the heat of the moment! I brought it back down to a 9 though because I want to see if the drama stays as good all the way to the end. But, yeah, ep 17 was top-tier. 💥🔥💥🔥. That episode was a 10/10.

Nope, the commenter was right. I totally understand what she was saying. The kiss was still emotional though. I just wish it had not been posted in the promotional videos so that we could have experienced it for the first time in the drama itself.
