I was really sad when YD was dying and she said ‘the world will never see the mortal Tang Zhou again’. She sounded devastated, like there was no point without him and like she was following him into death. In a way, she meant that. The love TZ gave her, which was untainted, was gone. YY’s love for her, while the same, is complicated, and always be overshadowed by duty. She doesn’t believe YY would ever break the rules for her (if only she had heard ZX’s bedside speech 🥺) and she sees TZ as only a small part of YY, a side of YY that is not dominant when the full YY in all his complexity returns
And the emotion when they meet up again for the first time in the desert! I was emotional for them! So many pent up feelings! 🥹 When YY gets all magic on us and tells her he won’t give up I’m going to scream! SO EXCITED! Haha
In the teasers I think I can see YD looking really pleased when YY holds her and hides her from the guard!
🥺She gets saved. But I heard about this in the fan videos, that she insists they are settled and they owe each other nothing, but he will keep insisting otherwise. He’s terrified she genuinely no longer loves him, so he becomes really miserable once he goes back to the heavens. Then he’s really happy when the test with the red string in heaven proves she still loves him.
In this clip RQ says that if she could have her chance again she would have still chosen to meet XY. That bothers me. Because when YD jumps off the bridge she says that if she knew the outcome (her on the bridge), she’d have rather have never fallen in love 🥺
That makes me think she didn’t love YY as much as RQ loves XY? Curse you 3 day wait! You’re making me have doubts!

I remember watching a video talking about a lot of the actors going the extra mile and doing their own stunts. A few were actors already trained in martial arts (Zheng ye Cheng and Wu Lei) or dance (Leo Luo and Yang Yang) but Cheng Yi was praised similarly highly for his fight scenes even though he has neither martial arts or dance training. He works really hard to perfect his movements.

So my guess is she thinks that he should not rebel against heaven for her, and she sacrificed her heart so he could serve the greater good. And he’s annoying her by trying to be with her when she knows it is impossible and she doesn’t want to experience the pain of losing him again.
But… she still doesn’t have to look so mad at him!

I just rewatched it. Thanks. I see what you mean now. TZ would have died if YD hadn’t asked Lu Ming to protect him. She’s protecting him with her all in the heavens and the mortal realm, and now he knows it is her helping behind the scenes too. YY is moved and pained by how much YD loves him.
Just running errands listening to the IS soundtrack. The one they play in the background of YD and TZ’s imaginary wedding. And I started crying in Boots (a pharmacy). 🤣🤣🤣🤣 This drama is seriously good. Evoking emotions out of nowhere. I just got so sad thinking about the scene when they’re in red (during the final fight) and YY says ‘from the start my love for you has never wavered or changed. Only if the three realms exist, can you exist’ and then he will kill himself (most likely). 😭😭
