Nothing about this drama justifies its existence. I don't go into these mini dramas expecting a lot, but WOW, this is not good.

Dear Lord, the CHEMISTRY in ep 7. I nearly fainted several times.

Pretty good. Didn't feel the romantic chemistry, but enjoyed the scenes where she sent bastards to hell very much.

This was adorable.

From fabulous to mediocre. I enjoyed the fight scenes though.

Ep 13 got me right in the feels. The actress who plays the mother is amazing. I have to say though, that if someone told me they loved me and then we had the least passionate snog of my life, I'd be feeling a little underwhelmed.

Honestly, I think ZLS is popular enough internationally that Netflix should be trying to snaffle up anything that she's in.

Same feeling, but also I was starting to really worry about her at one point because she just seemed to be working non-stop. Between filming, promotions, pre-production, and ads, I was wondering if the poor girl ever took a day off. I'd prefer to see less of her, and her stay healthy and on top of her game.

Agree. The number one rule of watching Chinese dramas is: Get used to disappointment.

I've loved since Oh My Emperor. Even my mother, who hates anything subtitled, was like "Who is that girl? She's fabulous?" I also like that she's a very physical actress, she uses her body as much as her voice and her facial expressions, which is what people do in real life, but many 'actors' do not.

My baby girl ZLS soooo good at portraying emotional distress. She always makes me want to hug her.

Not even 10 minutes in and my baby girl already got me right in the feels.

I'm really enjoying this and looking forward to seeing how they finish it off, but I also have to say that I'm SHOCKED by how hot "I'll put you on my insurance" sounded 🤣

The Corpse Bride, but literally 🤣

It was too over the top. And the fact that nobody noticed that the body wasn't stiff was just pure stupidity. I snort laughed my way through most of the episode.

Ep 28 was quite funny, but I don't think it was meant to be. It was like Romeo and Juliet meets Weekend at Bernie's.

I'm on ep 29, and this is draaaaaaaging. It's just scene after scene of plot points we've seen many times before. Totally different drama from the first few episodes.
