Totally agree. I’ve seen them before in countless dramas but this is the first drama that instigated an Amazon…
They sell them at pharmacies where I live, next to the lollies for diabetcs, but they're in bags with individually wrapped kopikos inside. I'd never heard of them until a colleague introduced me to them in 2016
I watched a few but so far if I can be sincere, I watched the four episodes and is not hyeri but the plot I don't…
I've only seen a few of his dramas, and this is the first time I've seen him be funny (his physical comedy as teenage him was really well done). I've never watched something just because he is in it, I generally find him pretty average as an actor. I'd like to see more comedy from him, because it's difficult to do well, and I think this may be where he really shines. I keep seeing him playimg intense types, and I can't say I get him as an actor when he's just all emo and shit. As I said, I haven't seen many of his dramas, so some of my comment may be redundant.
The FL I have only seen in My Roomate is a Gumiho, I think. She annoyed me there with the overdone 'fiesty' expressions, and she's doimg the same thing here. She has a very expressive face, and when she just lets it flow, she's lovely to watch. She does joyous and sad beautifully. But when we have the 'full on' scenes, she just works it too hard, and her performance starts to feel like a farce. She needs a strong director to help her pull back from that, and express her 'fighting' moments in a more believable way that don't make it feel so jarring to the viewer. It's like watching a good actress and a shit actress play the same role.
well call me crazy hahaha but I would prefer that than a cookie cutter overused plot. Maybe I have a drama block…
I've only watched 2 episodes, so can you clarify 'moves around' and 'that was his second time'? Do you mean his second time startimg a relationship after movimg?
I've only watched the first two episodes, and I have to say that I had no idea Hwang In Youp could be so funny. However, his sleaziness as adult him in ep 2 was gross, and I'm glad we saw him recognising that at the end of the episode. The flashbacks to highschool are an absolute delight to watch.
Oh man, kill the CEO already. I assume the brother of the assassin will show up and save the day.
I assume Mr Gold Teeth as well given that he got a couple of minutes of screen time in ep 8, and there's no way he's not pissy about having his teeth pulled out twice by the same dude.
wait Ju gang chan is wanting "the best" for his child? on what grounds ? on terroristic grounds ? Are…
I mean, no he's not OK, we've seen his background. He's a ruthless thug who has risen to the top by doing absolutely anything, including burning off his own tattoos (psycho behaviour) to get what he wants. He's not supposed to be "Ok".
Honestly........with the exception of MinJi because of that late recapture, the other two should have secured…
Yes. Given their histories it's ridiculous that they failed to identify their own children as potential targets, especially Mr Rock and Roll as he also has a wife who is either current or ex military, knows what her husband is involved in, and apparently it didn't occur to her either. So we have 4 parents with military backgrounds, and not 1 of those 4 brains seemed to think that the other 2 children could become a target?
It must be nice being a bad guy in a drama no one comes for your family but the bad guy. The only thing you have…
I think he's helpig him in order to 'complete' his mission and get his freedom. It was pointed out that Cricket put him in handcuffs that he knew full well he could get out of, so the 'you've failed your mission' was a performative statement to trick NK, because SK was in a bit of a bind
bro i never watch trailors of new episodes but i watched the 10 ep trailor and what did i just watch? NO WAY WHY…
Theoretically, it's a good idea. Sophie's Choice and all that. Putting it in the final episode of what is already a bloated drama is what I take issue with.
episode 9 is pretty boring. again, recycling the kidnapping of kids, shits get old.
I mean, that didn't happen until the very end, so apart from leaving a bad taste in the mouth, didn't really impact the episode for me too much. What it did do for me however, was just reinforce how repetitive this drama has become. At the end of ep 4 I was worried about this beimg 10 episodes long, and I think I was right. We're just getting repeat kidnappings and fight scene after fight scene, with dialogue to try and hold it together. It's giving Mercy for None.
someone needs to beat the shit out of gang chans daughter tomorrow. that little cvnt deserves to get knocked out…
She needs the gold teeth treatment. Also, I was expecting to see Mr Gold Teeth in ep 9, since he briefly popped up in ep 8, which would then be a completely pointless scene if we don't see him again. Perhaps he will engage in some shenanigans and help turn the tide in ep 10
I like it when a drama recognises that it just looks ridiculous trying to make product placements appear natural, and instead just go completely absurdist with them, Wayne's World style.
The rating on this drama is truly baffling ! Like did we watch the same drama?!? This was a 9.5 for me. The best…
I never expect my ratimgs to 'do' anything. Do you rate on MDL.thinkimg that your rating impacts anything? No. I'm the same. Like you, I only rate for myself
I did not say that there is love without romance, I said there is life without romance. Groups of people are not monoliths. You say that there are entire groups who have no romance. So how old will you be whem you cut romance out of your life because you're now in one of those groups? I talk about individual people. Not groups of people.
