With us in the final ten episodes I decided that I will attempt to watching this daily until it ends ...
Jumped right in with episode 89 and this was an intense one (although come on Seolah, it's way too late in the game to be kidnapped again lol) ... Juryun seems to be showing regret for how she treated Seolah (considering how she was definitely wilding out with her little "plan" lmao... I'm also rolling my eyes at the fact that this love triangle is still going on lol. We do get some nice scenes of Juryun and Seokgi though)
But the most interesting thing is the end - Clark breaks into the Min household and holds Juryun and Woojin hostage with a knife. Taechang and Jeongin walk in on it, and Taechang aims his gun at Clark, Jinho makes a rash decision ... A shot goes off. The episode ends here and in the preview, we are told that somebody has been killed. My personal guess is that it's Clark, who I don't really feel sorry for lmao but anyway
All of that is interesting and all but I swear it feels like Jeongin's murder is further away than it was from episode 2. 10 episodes left....
I've been neglecting this for witches game but I decided to catch up the most current (78) episode today. This drama is the slowest of slow burns and its low-key uncomfortable watching Jeongin interact with Woojin now. Of all things to slap your daughter for, you chose to slap her because of your misplaced and inappropriate affection towards your long lost son? This is so ridiculous I'm shipping Jeongin with a therapist tbh
Next episode preview looks like it has some potential... Seems like someone from Sunae's past is coming back...
Ok, so who is the real Snow White in this drama, Seol Ah or Sun Ae? Because it sure seems like Seol Ah's revenge…
I agree, the drama summary makes it seem like Seolah is the frontrunner of the revenge but in reality, it's Sunae's revenge and Seolah is just a pawn in her grand plan haha
I don't think Ju Ryun is actually her daughter. Her thoughts suggest otherwise. She only thinks that Ju Ryun isn't…
Good point... And I also remember towards the beginning of the drama where it was implied by another character (I think it was the ex-doctor?) that Juryun wasn't Taechang and Jeongin's daughter...
(totally skipped to episode 74) This show has jumped the shark. The DNA tests have been brought out and it seems that SJH/JWJ is the product of Jeongin's teen pregnancy with the lookalike that was in her flashbacks af the beginning of the show ... now since that's the case, Juryun is in love with her (half) brother and now I'm wondering back to episode 1, where it seemed like Jeongin and JWJ had romantic chemistry. No wonder the Korean title is scandal, lmao
Meanwhile, on namuwiki, it's been theorized that Jeongin's murder didn't actually happen, like it's someone's…
You're right, we won't know until it airs. My personal theory is Jeongin's murder is how the series ends... the slow pacing lead me to that conclusion lol
But you're 100% right about the previously shown fantasiea. If Jeongin's murder WAS a fantasy, I will say that it's probably one of the most well produced and high budget makjang fantasies I've seen. That being said though, we have 28 episodes left.... either this drama is going to be extended or everything will be rushed towards the end. We shall see~
Looks like there's no episode today (10/15). Can't find an article but I am willing to bet that it's because of a baseball playoff game airing in that time slot

Meanwhile, on namuwiki, it's been theorized that Jeongin's murder didn't actually happen, like it's someone's fantasy/dream sequence. If this is true, I will never watch a drama by this writer again π
This nudie movie subplot πππ I swear with every episode I watch I get closer to dropping it. But there's usually something in there that keeps me going... in this case Director Na vs Min Taechang. I will stand by my opinion that the drama should've been Sunae getting revenge on Jeongin - she and her son are bringing the heat!
30 episodes to go until the end.... This drama has been so unengaging that if I miss an episode, I don't go back to watch it ... I just jump to the current episode... I can usually guess what happens, since the plot is moving in circles (and I usually go back and read the episode summaries on KOCOWA if I skip too many)
I won't be surprised if I skip episode 71.... Seolah is going to offer her 2 cents on this nudie movie mess, (and I won't be surprised if she convinces him to pull out of the project because this is a daily makjang and ~first love conquers all~)
I feel like this is a popular opinion but I don't like watching Seolah and Woojin interact... There's no chemistry and watching paint dry is a more riveting experience. If they get back together at the end....
Well, here's hoping that next week we get closer to Jeongin's murder... which is looking more and more like it will be towards the end of the series. Also; there are certain things in episode 1 that have not been explained yet...

I did a bit more research and the screenwriter is Oh Sang Hee, who also wrote gracious revenge!
