Yes, I agree, clarification of the Peak/Kla relationship needs to happen to relieve my confusion as a viewer. I believe Peak is sexually attracted to Kla and he has the power to cause Peak to lose his mind and focus; therefore, Kla is perceived as a danger. Peak's fear and self loathing causes him to over correct his behaviors towards Kla and is personified through abusive reactionary behaviors, to prevent the ultimate betrayal and rejection by Kla.

I agree. For me, Korn's styling vacillated between Pinocchio and an organ grinder's monkey. But, when I thought about it, that matched my impression of the Bew character.
