The ending is not bad at all, it was just rushed. I loved the sisterhood portrayed in this show and I think it should stand out more. What happened with all the women that became kingdom officials? But the thing that truly anoyed me, and I think this is when the script derailed, was two secret sects that overlapped, and one of them was more religious than political. " Blood Moon", really?? And their leader using a mask just to hide his true identity from the audience and not for the sake of the plot really put me off. I wouldn't change anything in the end, except that I would keep the tension between ML and FL as high as it was at the beginning. And of course I would save emperor's best soldiers 😞 Maybe people in this platform is too obsessed with romance. I miss the people that used to come here to coment scenes, characters and gossip instead of just trash an entertainment show.
I liked that there was no brotherhood but also no bloody fratricide between princes. The plot is not very interesting, but it is always great to watch Jeremy Xu playing crazy characters. He's an amazing actor.
l loved the trio!! I know it is Zhan Zhao slice of life drama, but I could have more of his dilemas about justice. Main characters were a little plain. Still it is a good watch. 8.5/10 for me.
In my heart A Sheng is the heroine of this story.It's not that I hated the FL, but for me she was not very interesting and only walked adrift in the mortal world with no tribulation nor specific purpose. Alen Ren did a good job, it was an entertaining Xianxia with a right amount of sadness.
I'm crying my eyes out watching these people dying to save >books< , it's like a metaphor for nowadays librarians traying to protect books from being banned in a certain western country.
Things feel heavy around MDL comments session. It's an OK drama, I appreciate it when a story about the politics of love and war doesn't rely on binary thinking. The only thing I've missed is Chu Qiao's super power.
I'm at episode 17. It's got better after the first episodes, at least editing/direction doesn't feel chopped anymore. Li YunRui has such a gentle face, I could watch him forever in this character.
