Bei Kun was angry at the people who mistreated and looked down on him in the Tong residence. Miao Jie then found him and gave him a purpose and identity. His plot was never to get revenge for Haiya because if it was he could have killed the people who caused the massacre and be done with it. His beef was with his adoptive mother and brother, to show them that he could be something, that he could be a god/emperor. When the last minister died his revenge plot was complete, everything else after that was just a selfish project

Sadly the people who dropped it because of the poisoning will never get to feel the satisfaction of it all tying together😭😭😭 It also makes sense as to why there was so much focus on it (the poison) at the beginning and middle of the show only for it to vanish near the end as if it never existed

Bei Ming and Bei Kun’s life trajectory asks us a nature vs nurture question. If Bei Ming’s adoptive mother had been Bei Kun’s , showing blatant favouritism, abusing him and treating him like a dog, barely feeding him keep him alive, would he still have the same sense of justice and honour that he has today. Would he think justice would always prevail and righteousness could overcome evil? Would Bei Kun have become a better constable than Bei Ming if he had been raised by Mr Zhong instead? Or would he have felt that the world was still against him? Restrained by Mr Zhong and the expectations that would be on him for being his son? Also is Bei Kun a reliable narrator? Was he really treated so poorly at his first adoptive home? If so why did his adoptive father take him in in the first place? Did he adopt him to exact his revenge on him for being Bei Hai son? Could it not have been better for him to be raised with his brother in a different home?

I still don’t understand why General Tong adopted him to then treat him like rubbish? Like did he not understand his wife’s nature? Or was he punishing him for Bei Hai’s crimes? I mean even without Yesha 1.0 coming in to take him in I suspect he would have either usurped the Darts agency or dealt with his adoptive mother and brother eventually. I mean who kills a dog by dropping it?

I just want to know what percentage of the budget was spent on the soundtrack and last 6 episodes because wow, they were so good

But it could be seen as a sneaky way to leave a legacy behind because who can guarantee that the person who walks into his cave 200 years from now would have good intentions

Its worse because he gave it to 1000. The 200 are those who survived. Also why didn’t the Prince evacuate the town when those soldiers went berserk. That is his true crime! unless he planned on killing them all along. Because who gives a kill order that is so obvious? 😅 those mad zombies could have been given something in their food to sedate them first and then attack.

People need to give it a chance. The payback is much much better than those who get mystery solver hits every 2 or 6 episodes.

Yes, it would make it a better ending for sure but the drama loving screenwriters are probably going to either make him Yesha or a Yesha henchman 😢

The large scale adoption of the pill without having any countermeasures was the height of folly 😅, I suspect this arrogance runs in the Bei family line because how long had he tested the pill to see its effects? Or were the previous users still fine and the guy who went berserk was an outlier who caused a chain reaction? 😅

From today’s episode it really did
look like a tomb raider show 😅. Those poor Haiya citizens who survived a zombie apocalypse only to be eliminated by the soldiers who swore to protect them😔

What happened to the town is my speculation at this point but that’s what it looks like. Initially I had assumed the emperor (before he became the emperor) had killed a competitor to the throne who was hiding in Haiya and eliminated the town to avoid leaving any loose ends but now that doesn’t seem like the case. The army had no choice, we shall see if this is the case and XBM investigates.

You would think they would abandon the toxic female lead trope in 2025 but nope, I counted 3 already in doctor’s mine 😅. Khemjira is interesting and I will be following it as it airs, I will admit I was a bit scared in the first 10 minutes. And Jimmysea are adorable, weekends have never been better for thai bls tbh😂, well except for when the perfect 10liners were airing😭. They should give us a season 2 or something, 24 weeks of a show becomes part of your life 😭

Lol also there is character development. Its only episode 5, do we expect him to be perfect from the get go? He has formed a dependency on Junxi since he was a child. Junxi was one of his only 2 friends and also a safe harbour for him. He has abandonment issues from his mom and absentee dad. Issues Junxi knows about it and I think that is why he is so accommodating. He grew up with AhTou and best knows his character. Anyone who threatens that bond has to be blocked (in AhTou’s mind). So he needs to learn to let go and trust Junxi, which I hope the story will develop. Junxi is not perfect either, he tends to run from his problems (tbh AhTou has the same issue) and hasn’t still come to terms with the fact that he may be bisexual/gay, leading to AhTou not feeling secure in the relationship. The lack of security that AhTou feels in their relationship should be properly addressed.

Lol I watch doctor’s mine for the 2nd and 3rd couple (to-be, when will he break up with his girlfriend?). The 1st couple hasn’t cleared up their misunderstanding which is confusing to me because it only takes one sentence.
