Their separation didn't feels like 10 years. Family reunion feels weird. Friends reunion feels like strangers randomly hang around. Then San-Ha confess her feelings seems out of place. We didn't really see development of Ju-Won and her effort to move on from her brothers untill she have her own shop.
Hope the showmaker will tell why Ju-Won live separated from his father, thorough 8 episode i feel Ju-Won's dad are closer to Hae-Jun rather than her own daugther. Ju-Won love her family but why she choose live separated? Too much memories with her brothers?
And what she did with Hae-Jun's watch?
We got a glimpse why Hae-Jun rent a house, not living in his childhood house with Ju-Won. But i didn't see the reason for Ju-Won and San-Ha, i wish the showmaker make a make sense reason for that. San-Ha and Hae-Jun renting the same building as Ju-Won's seems naturally coincidence, it will be cheesy if the showmaker reveal later that it's not a coincidence.
The only nice thing from episode 9 and 10 is Hae-Jun and Park Dal. We can clearly see Hae-Jun's motivation is always his dad. Probably Hae-Jun chemistry with his dad and Hae-Jun relationship with Park Dal is better than the main couple.
If they make it like childhood friends turned to lover, they shouldn't spent 8 episodes for teenage timeline. The family bonding didn't feel really close, so when they got separated it less emotional. So better they spend more episode in adult timeline anyway.
Their adult vibe seems more better than teenage timeline, but finger crossed. Let see what is there in next episodes.
I am starting to watch episode 9 now. Sanha is a bit too harsh to Juwon. He should have made an effort to explain…
"San-Ha should have made an effort to explain to Ju-Won better why he needed to leave so she could understand. "
the showmaker will make it dramatic later when Ju-Won learned than San-Ha didn't live really well in Seoul. Maybe it's the plot device to turn Ju-Won's heart from stranger-cold to romance, maybe.
Binge watched 4 episodes... recommended my friend to watch it too... was excited for the 5th one... disappointed…
Last sentence of the synopsis : Somehow, Joo Eun Ho and Jung Hyeon O reunite and help cure each other's wounds.
Stop at 4, tell your friend too to stop at 4. The ending already spoiled in the synopsis. Other than 3 main characters, the others didnt have story or development.
I just finished ep 2 and.... I DID NOT EXPECT THAT LADY TO BE HER MOM omg... My jaw literally dropped when she…
you know? if she get on the boat immediately, no dramatic things like what have happened, higher chance them 3 get off shore in time and succesfully fleeing.
But yeah, if the mom still alive, then Duan-Wu will have different journey.
I suspected the brother turning out to be a bad guy from episode 1 itself where the camera and direction is ominous…
i forgot the details, but he is not planing the betrayal, it develop that way based on recent situation. I forgot if he have some ambition that lead to betrayal or to protect someone he loved. He is wrong, but not evil since beginning.
As for ML, this is about his journey to find family. He have father, step bro and step mom, sure. But along his journey as a police member, he found his true family. And tbh, its interisting development of him. His eccentric personality probably didnt changed much, but finally he have a place where he can be the best of him, and people that he really care.

There is little romance there, but most interisting point is the dynamics among the team (they're all homicide detectives)
kidding, totally up to you. But you are welcome to join the happy, the sad, and the angst in JeongNyeon's page
60 yo Valak still considered as teenager
