But overall, she really is the best dressed character in this series.

in ep01, Chairman Kang Yong Ho belittle Jun Hyeon's condition post accident.
Kang Yong Ho underestimate Jun Hyeon's life, his dream, his family.

i think the end of this story will revolve around this : repentance. How chairman Kang Yong Ho finally understand how to deal with Jun Hyeon, the 2nd issue is with his own family.

But it will be less creative if they made it like Reborn Rich.

Reborn Rich also have similar thing : flirting with romance plot.
but i do like the one in Reborn Rookie, they made it hillarious.

I don't know how old they are whom expecting Bang Geul to have relationship with Jun Hyeon.
I don't think neither is possible, both Yong Ho's JH or Original JH.

I will be glad if it stay one sided till the end.

If my kid give me a gift, i will be touched even if the money come from my own.
But not this old man Yong Ho, lol.
He forever see his kids as brats.

watching Reborn Rich because of this drama.
can't avoid not to compare both.
so far, i like this Reborn Rookie rather than Reborn Rich.

Other than faster pace than Reborn Rich, this one have a good combination of complicated business plot and comedy.
There is romance tho, one sided and i will counted it as comedy. This one sided romance also make this drama uncommonly fresh.
Not to mention that ML have flirt scene with many characters here.

And learning from Reborn Rich, i gotta prepare for the unexpected.

i do hesitant at first.
but i can tell you, yes this is good.
except if you expect a romance, and the business part is not something easy to chew but i'm sure most people can follow the overall plot.

what i regret is : curious why many people dislike the ending.
When i read it (while didn't finish watch it), i have anticipated the twist. I have no idea how the twist will be, but i'm sure know there will be twist.
It took the fun away, even just a bit.

i don't know will i dislike it like other people if i don't know about the twist.
contrary to many people, i like the ending.

Now, do Reborn Rookie will have unexpected plot like this one?

why they bring them on the cliff only to shot him?

if they plan to kill him by bullet, shoot him in the closed room then bury the body later.
If they plan to made it look like accident, they can just throw them from the cliff so he will be dead because from the fall.
Why bother bring him alive to the cliff then shoot him?
1. bullet wound will make it obvious it's a murder.
2. shoot him on the open space, there is chance of witness.
3. throw the body immediately after they shot, is the worst way to make sure he is dead.

Moreover, why the betrayer showed up?

i got itchy from all this dramatic nonsense.

Surely I know it's totally fantasy. But other parts are well written, but the Yulivia one is too rushed.

It can also be possible as "he may be my (biological) father, but he is absent in my whole life."

B. im still in the dark about their plot with Smile Investment, Kaimin mining, and Lithium mine in Yulivia.

From previous episodes, Smile investment have 30% shares of GF Solutions (that one company that Choiseong bought for 300 billion through bidding war in ep05).

So from 300 billion in value, Smile Investment have roughly 100 billion. (Remember that Choiseong first proposal to GF is only about 80 billion?) Smile Investment now have about 100 billion from 5 billion as initial capital. That is somewhat crazily smart move.

Probably, probably, Hwang Jun Yeon plan is about to default Choiseong so Smile Investment can buy it (but it will less likely, Choiseong is too big to fall this way).
Or his plan is just to kick out Kang Jae Gyeong for her mismanagement of Choiseong, because she recklessly using fund from another projects to buy GF Solutions.

As his plan for Lithium mining is prevent Taeha group to own the Lithium mining.

But im in the dark about their next move to use all of it (Smile Investment, Kaimin, and Lithium mine), because they act as non-Choiseong.

Probably they will merge Smile Investment with Choiseong later on. Through merger, Smile can have their top shareholders become one of Choiseong. That one top shareholder is surely Casey Kang.
But they will need alot of effort to convince directors and shareholders of Choiseong to merge with Smile Investment. What Choiseong benefit from that merger?

Since Smile Investment have 30% share of GF Solutions, so if Casey Kang as CEO of Smile have control of Choiseong, she will own 100% of GF Solutions (30% from Smile, 70% through Choiseong). But i don't know how she will use Smile Investment as a leverage to boost her position inside Choiseong, maybe she won't reveal it until she claim one of director position.

And she still have ace card from Lithium mining deal with Yulivia government.

Maybe Hwang Jun Yeon's plan in this is less political, and more profit oriented, since he said that the future of battery technology is solid state battery.
So if he can control the factory that produce the technology (GF Solutions), and he can control the mine that produce materials needed, he can push the price down so he can sell more.

A. The twins are battling for chairman position.
Initially the old chairman about to choose his successor, he still in doubt about the twins. When he is in comatose, he still didn't announce who will lead Choiseong.

Supposedly, the candidates for the next chairman is only between the twins, but the old chairman instructed his trusted director, Lee Sang Jae to make candidate available for all employees of Choiseong as long that person is capable.

This way, Hwang Jun Yeon, a newbie and an outsider can return to his position as chairman through legitimate way.

Hwang Jun Yeon made the twins battling against each other, so he can rise in the midst of chaos. Hwang Jun Yeon can rank his way up while he kick the twins from possible candidacy.

1). Hwang Jun Yeon made male twins looks weak and incapable of leader position so he lose support from the voters (male twins losing against his twins multiple times).
2.) Hwang Jun Yeon possibly made female twins look so reckless so she too will lose support from the voters (her reckless act is from her effort to acquire GF Solutions in ep05).

Yulivia's plot are too unrealistic, they made it too cheesy.
Eventho the maneuvre is something clever, but the act is just too short to the point it look unrealistic.

By far ep05 is the best, while the end of ep06 escalated the intensity of the drama.
Overall this is one of best political drama i enjoy watched it.

In the drama, it gave good dynamics. His action translated as flirting by his daughter.

And his love for his 2nd wife made him more human than just ruthless businessman. His 2nd wife came from working class, even better she is his ex worker.

He have motivations to get back to his old body.

It'll greedy af if the drama follow the source.

I mean he have the mind of a veteran, but have the body of prime human.

So he forever stuck in another body?

Why he marry his own granddaughter?

He clearly didn't see her in any romantic way, at all.

But he asked her dinner once, and she agreed.

is her name is a playword?

thats not jealousy expression.

she is surprised, more like a shock, she is wondering how he can win over her sister.
