FL said in EP4, that she was practically living at the hospital and people she met were mostly doctors and nurses.…
I have a problem with your comments. She's open and energetic and warm, friendly with everyone ... not just men ... not just some men or particular women. She's the same with everyone. She's not afraid to be nice and supportive of others. She's genuinely herself and people take that as being flirty and a negative thing that she shouldn't be. This is why women have to shut themselves down and fit themselves into a box made by others. You know, I live in a FIFA town and I'm a lot like the FL so when I got into an elevator on Friday and began talking to some football fans who were also getting in, I was just being myself and the guy closest to me looked me straight in the eye and explained that he and his friends had girlfriends thanks very much. One of his friends apologized but the other two had just smirked. I mean seriously? Instead of being friendly back or just smiling and turning away, he decided to read me wrong and humiliate me? This is just one example that I don't get. Why are people so quick to think she's flirty? Why do women have to be too afraid to be friendly or enthusiastic?
They had a memorable experience together in the past. She's suddenly having to deal with her most important person's imminent death ... but he's managed to get her grandma into a cancer treatment study for patients in stage 4. Wow! That's huge. So, are there people who wouldn't hug him under those circumstances? Even the jealous ML seemed to think that the clinical trial put the hug into an understandable perspective. Although I did think that they shot it to look pretty ambiguous for the ML to get deflated.
would be a bit ooc if he knows how to fight i think 🤣
The ML is slightly unhinged and off the cuff on his good days. He's always reckless and doesn't think in the heat of the moment the way that you would want him too. I suspect that you are putting your own way of doing things onto the character when calculating a revenge would be ooc for him. At least in those first moments, his anger will take over.
You've noticed how much she bleeds right? Enough to land her in hospital now and then. And you've noticed her…
She's having nose bleeds well into the drama. The happy days you're describing are at the end in the last two episodes. Also ... as a really pale person myself ... who looks stupid with too much coloring makeup on ... I object to your point. But also, Korean beauty standards are Korean. They don't exist to sell Koreans to Westerners. That's just Western arrogance talking. Of course you're entitled to your preferences. It's just not reasonable for you to expect that whole other nations share them alongside you or share them for your sake.
I could be wrong but my take is this: Jin Man couldn't hit the person that he truly wanted to hit. Gyeong Se.…
I hope I got it right. It would be great to hear other opinions too. Dong Man and Jin Man are interesting individuals; sensitive, creative, eccentric, wounded, long suffering survivors. And their relationship is intriguing and engaging too. Not always easy to understand since they are so alike and so different at the same time. I still have a couple of episodes to watch so I'm still hoping to learn more about their family upbringing in childhood. And I keep imagining a particular ending but I'm not there to see it just yet.
can anyone explain why hwang dong man's brother hit him so ruthlessly
I could be wrong but my take is this: Jin Man couldn't hit the person that he truly wanted to hit. Gyeong Se. Because it would only have made things worse if he attacked Gyeong Se. GS would sue and put him in prison, for sure. But he wants to keep his brother away from that old 'friend' so he made that known by hitting Dong Man instead. On the one hand, he's telling his kid brother that he's an idiot for his bad behaviour and for sticking where he isn't wanted. But he's looking at Gyeong Se and GS is left in awe. He's pretty clear what could happen to him next time when there are no witnesses around. It's like , on the other hand, he's saying ... 'this situation is so wrong and it makes me so angry that I'll do this to my own brother ... imagine what I will do to you, if you keep treating this situation and my brother the way that you have been.' And, I think, it works. Little brother feels the point and GS is truly left in a state of awe and fear at the end of the demonstration. The message is crystal clear that he is taking a huge risk when he messes with this guy's kid brother. Stop now or you're next.
I don't know what the ratings were like for The Smile has Left Your Eyes but the script was good, it was a serious role, definitely not a rom-com and she killed it along with her costar. It absolutely proved her acting chops to me so, if you haven't really watched it, you should. With that and AOS it hit me that she's one of the most reliably talented FLs in NKorea. She definitely has range in her performances even if she and her team have chosen a few projects that weren't also exactly to my taste. Very few actors have a resume with no bad choices on it. Look at Yoo Seung Ho. Great actor with some great roles and quite a few bad ones as well. These two are similar to me in this respect.
Is there a point where the he stops hating her and she stops humiliating herself? If so, please let me know what episode to skip to. I'm on episode 3 right now and I can't take it anymore.
if u have read the manhwa , u'll feel disappointed with this .i mean they tried hard but the manhwa is completely…
After reading the webtoon first, I liked the drama better. s1 and s2. So, not everyone feels the same way. The drama has so much more subtlety and depth. It's moving. But that's partly due to the differences between the two mediums and the fact that they probably shouldn't be compared. imho.
oh my. you want a count? how about you just watch with your eyes closed for the bits you don't like ... there…
there are a couple of difficult fight scenes mainly because s2 pits him against much better fighters ... so he has to keep turning to his unorthodox weapons (including the pen and another sharp instrument) but ... they're telegraphed early enough for you to be ready to turn your head.
Be prepared for the rooftop fight and the final fight. they're both quite brutal because he must win ... but, you'll see them coming and ... in my mind they didn't hit as hard as the ep1, ep7 or the ep8 fights in season 1. Those were the ones that I found hardest to watch.
Also ... there's more humour in this second season. It's kind of zoomed out a bit from the close personal, psychological focus and retributions of s1.
Anyway, i hope you enjoy it all. I think you will.
After finishing i still wonder whether suho is really exist or not in this season and webtoon.
He definitely exists in this season. In fact, his being there is incredibly important for the mood and si eun's development ... and, if we're lucky enough to get a part 3 he will, no doubt, have his own development once again. In the webtoon, he magically steps out of his coma ... at the very end of the story ... only si eun doesn't find out about it until he's back out in life all healed again. happy ending but extremely rushed :-)
what's the amount of detailed disturbing scenes such as the pen one from s1 ep1 & ep8 or the one with the brick?
