I just saw it pop-up on Amazon Prime Video. The story looks intriguing, so I'll give it a try.

Like several others of this genre, this series ended up too long. Could have been at least five or six episodes shorter. Maybe the screenwriter wanted to be too close to the book? Also, that Fatty, like his counterparts in other similar series was beyond annoying. Someone probably wanted his character to be funny, but it was just annoying. Anyway, the writer spent too much time in some scenes trying to put too much detail and the dialogues were simply too long and boring. The overall concept is very good, but the Chinese must improve this genre's screenwriting.

If they are looking at Hollywood for guidance, they are literally screwed. That Netflix remake of 3 Body Problem was a disaster and I could not go beyond part of episode 2.
The Crash Landing on You original series was great and Koreans should keep their identity, which made their movies and series original and very entertaining, instead of trying to partner with declining politically-correct studios rotting into oblivion. Netflix has been losing subscribers like crazy here in the US; therefore, not a good one to guide.

There were a few, but all were gracefully resopved. No sick obsession that leads to self-destruction like in some dramas. Ine had a sad end and two had happy endings. However, the happy ending ones were a bit childish. But, I guess that for this drama's overall style, they are OK.

Entertaining drama with some funny moments. Good acting in general, direction and production. However, at the end the writer went a bit overboard and it looked more like a party between the series' crew and actors. I guess they wanted everyone feeling good. Worth watching.

I just started watching this one and I'm wondering how it could have got such high rating. Story concept is good, but it ends there.
I'm in episode 5 and about to drop it. Really bad acting, direction, and screenwriting with only a few of the soundtrack music saving it so far.
Does it get better later? I'll skip to that episode.

Not really, since the injury was done by the brother in their fight (hence I mentioned love/hate relationship). They had a good relationship when young. Then it went sauer as they grew up and ended up in the deadly fight.

There's the love/hate thing between ML and his brother, if it counts.

Don't give up. It gets very good after a slow start.

Great story! This series has a bit of everything very well balanced: adventure, romance, wuxia, suspence, and lots of action. Very good acting, production and direction. Special effects, CGI and OST help the final touch for a perfect entertainment series. Highly recommend.

Very cheesy but fun to watch. This is one of those dramas we watch for plain entertainment without thinking about anything. The acting in general was decent, there were a couple plot twists but too many flashbacks.

I'm a big Joy of Life fan and also hope the the 3rd season will not take as long as the second to start streaming.

I liked the 2nd season more than the 1st and the storyline, acting, and overall production also felt better.
They left the cliffhanger for a 3rd season and I hope it comes quickly.

Entertaining and funny series. Very good special effects and CGI, but it stops there. The story and acting reminded of video games.

Nice series, even though a bit rushed at the end. It had some dragging scenes in the beginning and middle, which time would have been better if used for other stuff at the end. Neverthless, it's very entertaining and the director and actors in general did a great job.

Funny series with most of it just right. The writer, director and actors did a great job and even the lenght was done right. Not too long neither too short. Some of the stuff was a bit far fetched, but it's comedy fiction, so everything goes.

Strange is an understatement about some of the cases. They are simply batshit crazy. The writer has a great imagination and the series is a very good entertainment.

Season 2 did not improve this trainwreck. It's a pity because the original concept was fine. The short episodes made bearable to watch without fast forwarding.
