I still can't move on from the baddie shangguan qian... Is there anyplace where they still discuss about shangguan…
Tbh I don't know but her and Gong Shang Jue were so iconic, I believe that role secured both their careers, I felt like her career stalled a bit after that show but it's picking back up rapidly rn. I wasn't very active at the time so I missed discussions about them and little tid bits I might have missed whilst watching.
I remember the scene where he found blood in her room and that gave her away. I wanted her to say it's period blood so bad 🤣
They were so iconic, I believe they could've played the long game with these 2, and kept them going for so long, their characters had the bones for it.
Why so much hype for this Pei character out there ? Is it real or fake narrative by this Pei simps just creating…
Tbh he doesn't seem like a horrible person and this isn't the first time we see a SML/ character set up like this. He's been a gentleman to FL, he has a strong presence, he seems to care about his work and safety of the people. He has daddy issues, probably mommy issues as well which birth why he's the way he is.
Aside from the whole thing with ML, he hasn't done anything wrong.
As I said he's quite charismatic and foxy so there'll be people who will fall for him.
But there's love for the male character? Who said there isn't. Plus SML is a new face, people probably weren't expecting his character so their taken by him. But Xiao Yu is till front and centre in the show dw.
I hope our year of dramas continues like this because the lineup seems like it's going to be bangers after bangers. I hope I'm right and 2026 can be an iconic year for them
Again, this is nuance in the language. In Chinese, saying " I Like You" truly equates to "I'm into…
AHHHH yes I understand now! Thank You so much!!!
I think I saw a video of international fans calling a celebrity and saying the words wo ai ni and them being super awkward/ shy. I think netizens said something like "do they say it just like that" I see now, it makes sense. I knew it carried weight but not this much!
I genuinely never knew this, sorry if I came off a certain way ðŸ˜
Pei Zhen's actor is quite charismatic; he has a presence. I wonder where his acting career is going from here. I want him to play a crown prince or general.

Yes i understand saying I love you carries a lot of weight and it's used in a romantic context from watching a lot of shows, it's not just plain and simple I like You. But I love you "Wo ai ni" definitely has a punch to it ðŸ˜
What I find interesting is that Xiao Yu is similar to the character CXX plays in the drama "My Boss," but he manages to make them "feel" different. He didn't play them the same way. That's interesting. How do actors do that lol.
I went to sleep after watching up to ep 5 and was super giddy to wake up and watch the rest. My face after I woke…
Also does this show lean into her disorder? more than a rom com, I feel like i wasn't expecting that from the show. it seems like it's going to be a big part. Sort of dark

hmm okay, my expectations have been lowered a bit. bruh why does this always happen with kdramas and we've been waiting for 2 years. The first few eps were so good!

From the tik tok edits and poster, I didn't think the show would be cosy at all. Till I watched
