tbh I get what you mean as well, I personally really enjoyed it and hit fast forward on the scenes I couldn't handle (only a few) I've watched a couple cdramas and I know they sometimes like to do this when there's a time jump. This drama the time jump happens much later in the show that's why people feel this way.

Overall I really enjoyed Mumu's character, she's fun, cute and a ball of sunshine, she's also confident and only very cute around JZ. Like I said I'm still not very used to the "cute" situation that goes on at times but I wouldn't want that to stop me from watching the show tbh because I enjoyed it a lot, it was so fun. A lot of people wanted Mumu as an adult to be explored more, herself and her career but there wasn't enough time. TBH Thailand arc was insane , it had a feel to it and I don't think anyone would've wanted them to go 50/50 on time spent in Thailand and Nanjing

Also if you try watching it and you feel you can't get into it that's also perfectly fine!

My most anticipated show this year is Blossom of Power, if that does well then HY's going to get so popular. Because the character he's playing is very green tea. The novel is quite popular and C-Netz seem to be exciting. But his roles so far are quite solid tbh, al ot of people liked him in DY and SAL. So BOP might be the final block he needs to blow up.

Watching edits of just Zhao Zhao makes me feel like I undermined his suffering whilst watchingg, he's legit just a baby surviving on his own. Mumu's dad is low-key useless. He had to live a chunk of his life unwanted, the other chunk, homeless, hungry, no education till he could help himself out of the trenches. Legit my shaylah I love him so much.

Yeah I'm not a rabid fan too but his life legit changed after LGIEF, and a chunk of it had to do with the CP thing, I'm sure her fans supported him alot and are now regretting it. But he seems like a nice guy and was so touched on tencent night (again I don't know him) so not sure why he didn't.

No He Yu is popular internationally but not in China yet from what I've seen. , he didn't even get a fraction of what Ding Yuxi got that's why I'm praying for his next drama to do well because his talent can't be wasted. International fame can't do much for him
