I watched this a year ago and stopped at ep 17 and haven't gone back ( i want to just didn't get the time, i saw that this had a 33k Heat index, which is really high, but the rating here is just 8.4? i don't laways trust the ratings, but at least an 8.6. did the plot start to diminish?

not sure where you are in the drama rn but it gets more serious as it goes on, i watched it whilst it was airing and almost stopped when i saw the school arc.

I had to come back here and talk about Wang Xing Yue's (Duke Su's) Performance. I watched him in "One and Only" 2 years ago and I felt he gave a strong performance as an 18 year old, then watched him in "A Scent of Time" and "AASOFL" I didn't watch them particularly for him but he has a VERY STRONG presence. When I watched the double I knew he would deliver, but wasn't sure about the plot at first. WXY is such a natural actor, for a lot of actors i feel like even when you're watching you can tell they're acting and following a script, i, whilst some people feel like they have immersed themselves and become the characters with the micro expressions and line delivery, It just comes out naturally feeling like they didn't even need to put effort and that is WXY, he did so well and he's one of my top 5 cdrama actors at just 22, he has this incredible presence. I hate comparing shows, but I watched a show a bit similar to this some time ago, you can tell the character was similar to this Duke Su, but he just wasn't there yet, you know?? I still remember some of his iconic lines and the way he delivers them so smoothly, his expressions as well. And I can't imagine someone else playing this. Can't wait to see what's in store for him in the future!

for kdramas i am watching and loving our unwritten soul, and will start first night with the duke soon. Also you've watched Nirvana in fire??? it's the highets rated drama on here and i'm scared of being dissapointed, i started it, it was okay, leading up to something but had exams and had to stop, i need to be in the right headspace. Do you think it's really good??? or was it really good for 2015??

I really enjoyed POB, I don't think it was like LLTG tho at all, lltg had multiple layers and characters to unpack, I feel like my expectations for POB changed around ep 10 and realized it's going to be more romance less politics which i'm 100% fine with. so 10/10 for me. I'm going to start LOZH soon too! tbh maybe becuase cdrama episodes keep reducing i think shows like LLTG, Story of Minglan, A dream of splendor aren't being produced anymore, maybe there's not time to tell the story i don't know what's happening. i started watching cdramas in 2023 and i've watched ALOT of them almost all on your list and i can clearly see the difference especially last year. The double was my favourite last year which i didn't expect, the rest where just meh, and i love idol dramas but shows like Minglan, Ruyi, 10 miles are nit being produced anymore.

hmmm what other shows can i recommend, for "are you the one" i really liked it but some parts i didn't care about. Aside from the few parts i think it was well done. for recommendations since you have watched all the good one's, i recommend

One and only and it's sequel "forever and ever" (this one is so good and has the main actor from the double)
A scent in time ( This one is so underrated, it came out before SOKP and has similar plot, duke su is also in it)

To me it's okay, not the best thing i've watched but I AM VERY CURIOUS on what happened that got them to where they are now, as everyone says it gets better and better, plus i just discovered how fine Joseph Zeng is on this show, his make up is really good imo. Try it and see. With each ep i get more curious on what happened between them. Chemistry is insane btw..

I LOVED POB but i have to say it wasn't a show with layers like a lot of shows on the list below, especially shows like LLTG, the double etc. if you like romance then yes, there's alot of romance a bit of politics and some villians, I loved it and, i thought the acting, romance etc were good, i rather that than a show where they fill it with nonsense to add layers *cough Cough* (Kill me love me) it also felt more like healing the wounds from the past instead of revenge. I can critic a show even if i love it and the leads. The double was actually at 9 but reduced because of the open ending. but if you want something with multiple layers like the list below. if you liked this i reccommend, The Story of Minglan

yes and no, i would say the romance is secondary and revenge comes first but it doesn't feel that way, the romance is sort of interwined, they don't get together early but doesn't mean they don't act like a couple. chemistry is insane btw

yes he had an accident i belive and had to be on a liquid diet for some time, correct me if i am wrong

if you ignore the whole plot of gime solving the case, this is such a GOOD SHOW, i'm not a huge fan of either of them just a regular fant hat recognizes talent and can give critisicm, this show is so funny and gorgeous. i just tuned out the whole mystery plot

I love LYN as well, he's just so likeable and funny, i hate that he get's so much hate.
