I really liked Rise of Ning, and I really like A Splendid Match. The ML here played a really good, menacing villain in RoN. Without him, the story would have been boring. I'll be rewatching both at some point.

I struggled a bit after Pursuit of Jade to find anything I wanted to watch. First I decided to try something very different - and ended up loving the Epoch of Miyu. This has been the first historical since PoJ that I've enjoyed. It's been fun watching the FL grow. I loved her in the Rise of Ning too.

Apparently a lot of the nobles and military/nobles have gained land that hasn't been entered officially in the registers, so they're not paying the correct amount of tax. I'm up to episode 20, and after the first few episodes, it hasn't been mentioned too much. I'm guessing it'll come back around later in the series as a reason for some sort of evil plotting against the ML.

He also looked older than his age in The Rise of Ning.

Also me! That was one of my favorite dramas last year. Loved everything about it, including the music and the acting. They left it wide open for a second season. Come one, gotta defeat the bad guys!
