i'm watching My Liberation Notes which is a comatose "cough cough" i mean kinesthetically paced show and i'm enjoying it without fast forwarding through it which i almost never do. it's a story where a super duper slow paced romance is central to the theme. usually, i deliberately try to avoid shows where romance is a primary or central to the show.
the male female dynamic that i most admire was probably Lucy Liu & Jonny Lee Miller as Joan Watson & Sherlock Holmes. there was never a will they won't they feel to the show but they were so ride or die for each other most of the time. their philotimo, menschlichkeit or sahn ai sense of loyalty and brotherhood i truly admire.
i think that is the penultimate foundation for a romance; that being loyalty, trust and partnership . i'm only pontificating bc of my own acrimonious, personal failures. i appreciate the reccomendation and i will be sure to give See You At Work Tomorrow an honest effort bc Park Ji Hyun reminds me of a girl i went to High School with. haha
so i looked through like 10 pages of reviews on this and they are savage. they were reviewed so poorly how is this getting a 8.7? i'm not sure if i want to watch this or not
i like other stuff with Son Suk Ku, i finished Big Bet but i don't remember him being in it at all and i saw it fairly recently yikes. but 9 Puzzles was awesome. this chit is slow as phuck. it is kinesthetically paced. i tend to skip through a lot the slower parts of the action & adventure types stuff but i am slow watching this with out fast forward-ing bc the whole thing is feelings paced and it doesn't feel like it slows down bc the whole chit is slow. my second day watching this and i just started episode 5. this is unheard of bc i power through 8 episodes of other stuff at a time with ease.
