Okay, I watched the first three episodes, and they really got me intrigued as a true crime enthusiast. The pacing is great, and the cases feel realistic and reasonable...not something pulled out of thin air that would be impossible to solve in real life unless you’re a super genius. Like many crime dramas, there’s an overarching case tied to the two main characters, along with ongoing cases that gradually connect to it.

Just started watching because I’ve been waiting to binge FOREVERRR!! The courtroom interrogation scenes remind me of Justice Bao, like Bao = LLF, Gongsun = SWM, ZhanZhao = XH....and especially when the suspect doesn’t want to spill the tea and he calls out the names of his guards, and they be chanting like, “Weiiii Wuuuu (silence!)” in unison. The only thing missing is the guillotine in the scene, Dragon Head for the royals, Tiger for the officials, and Dog for commoners. I like how LLF has matured over the seasons, but not gonna lie, the S1 hot head LLF was kinda hot. I lied, very, very hot.

I know Owari is an ahole father!...but I admire his professionalism when he was clocked by Hajime in front of the audience....he didn't say "next person" and kick him out, he didn't flinch one bit, he answered all the questions truthfully. he was very calm.
Im here bcoz of WXY. Done 5 episodes. Cases are pretty straightforward. I am not feeling the chemistry between main leads. Even though WXY looks very dapper, I dont think I wanna continue watching.
Nakazato clocked early on that Watarai likes Hioki...or at least he has a good spidy-tingle. He’s a super nice guy and the first one to introduce himself to Watarai and say it was fine to invite Hioki to the group, because he probably noticed that Watarai always second guesses himself and had to use all his courage to suggest inviting Hioki. They are all pretty nice guys.
Why do I get teary at Hioki’s response to Watarai’s confession??!?He is already a possessive boyfriend.......-TO-BE, basically someone who is already setting rules about not letting Hioki drink with anyone else but him when he hits 20. Mr. Possessive!!!
I really can’t remember characters from the previous seasons showing up in the new episodes. I can’t even remember the monk who bowed his way to the temple for two years, the poet, or the beggar kid in the Wu and Du family pillars case, lol. If they wanted to plug a false memory into my head, they probably could ...or maybe even run a psychological experiment to see how many people are affected. Then again, I might just forget about them again when season 4 or 5 comes around. 🫠
