As expected... 5min of Gao Tu and his storyline is moving in snail pace 🐌🐌 🐌 two more eps to go. How are they going to wrap up SWL and GT??? We demand a spin-off.

I didn't recognize Tong tong with that glasses. How I have missed him since TSWL!!! Boy needs to take BL roles...at least for 1 series or 2 like Film.

What I don’t understand is why Chief Li knowingly drank the poisoned wine and still went back to the palace, knowing he might not survive. He’s one of the most powerful figures, yet he looked so defeated.

A lot of questionable choices were made. They introduced these major characters with strong martial arts skills and dramatic entrances, only for them to be defeated by trivial things... Crazy Yan, Chief Li, Roung, etc. Why put a ticking timer on General Wu when he could have just been killed off directly?

They also hinted at a love triangle with Tang Gege, Tang Fang, and Red Phoenix, but then abandoned it, only to patch it up in the final episodes like an afterthought. Honestly, I started losing interest once the story shifted direction and introduced a new villain, while the old ones suddenly turned out to be “misunderstood good guys.” Their past villainous actions against the heroes were brushed aside and forgotten.

By then, I had lost focus on the new villain too. he just felt like another bad guy I didn’t care for, and I kept watching only for the sake of finishing the story. There were definitely good moments here and there, but overall, the mishandling of the storytelling left me unsatisfied.

A side rant: whoever invented that drinking cup intended half of the drink to spill to the ground for ancestors because it cannot be a poor design. The tea cups are just fine. 😅 ok, don't come for me for this. It was a joke.

Where the hell is Crazy Yan's sister ??lol i thought she's gonna play some kind of major role in these final few episodes. Does Yan even care about looking for his long-lost sis? I wasted so much energy on hating Power Gang and LSF now for what...nothing 😭
