Wow, Yongwoo's dedication is insane. Despite going on a date with Jiwon all day, he still chose Choa. I think the average person in that situation would choose their date to message, especially if you spent a lot of one-on-one time with them, it's surprising to see him choosing the actual person he has feelings for DESPITE that. If I were in that situation I would also pick my date just out of obligation, but I'm glad Jiwon didn't take it too badly. She could've been like "I was with him all day, I can't believe he picked someone else" and have naturally taken offense to it but she was a lot more understanding, she accepted that even if she really liked him it didn't mean that he would feel the same way. That itself tells me she's a really nice person.
At this point I'm getting too attached to Yongwoo x Choa, if they keep this up and DON'T end up as endgame I think my heart will physically hurt.
Interesting how Seokyung and Hwihyun didn't show any intent on getting back with their exes in the first house but now that they're in Jeju their minds have changed.
Seokyung is the most confusing to me. In the first house she seemed very nonchalant and chill, just doing her own thing even after Juwon confronted her about being too touchy with the guys. In Jeju it's like she's a whole new person, intentionally trying to break Juwon and Yujung's connection and being VERY obvious about it too. I wonder if part of this is the editing's fault, especially for pre-Jeju. I think someone pointed it out that we didn't get as many interview scenes of her in comparison to everyone else. so it was hard to figure out how she was feeling and why she behaves the way she does. There would be a moment involving Seokyung and we'd get everyone's interview thoughts except hers. How much are they leaving out for her personality to make a full 180?
Seokyung expressing her dislike about Juwon & Yujung so blatantly right in front of Yujung's face just wasn't it. I personally don't understand how anyone could do that, especially to someone you've only know for 3 weeks. Yujung maintained her composure amazingly though, she's definitely the most level headed person in this show. It's a shame that, even if he won't admit it, Juwon is very influenced by Seokyung and I feel bad for him for it. The tear that Seokyung has made between Juwon and Yujung may just be enough to pull them apart by the end, especially since Yujung seems like the type of person to stay away from drama. She would rather choose her own peace of mind. I hope Juwon can also separate his lingering emotions towards Seokyung and her very pushy behaviour and just focus on what he has with Yujung.
Two things this season did awfully bad compared to the other seasons, 1. it's the participants joining mid-season,…
I'm lowkey thinking it may have been because of the PD change. This season they've clearly focused more on each ex-couple's dating background, such as DH being an idol and having a secret relationship for 13 years, SJ being a gold medalist and HH breaking up because he was poor. Very eye-catching stories, but they failed to take into account everyone's personalities and how well they'd mix in together. In this season, at least one person in every ex-pairing is hung up on their ex, so there isn't as much 'new' couples as there should be. They shouldve added more ex-couples that are over each other and encourage each other to find new people instead of meddling and getting in their way.
after finding myself loving those Dongjin/Hyewon moments the preview comes and slap me like that. at this point…
I think Hwihyun is just very clueless in general lol. He's been like that since the beginning, never picking up on very obvious cues like Hyewon's behavior with the candy.
I hope in future seasons they add girl-girl or boy-boy siblings to spice things up.. I can definitely see that happening as a plot twist. At least you can do that with this concept lol. I think incorporating those type of sibling dynamics along with the boy-girl ones would be really interesting.
the preview for next week's eps have me a little worried for our yongwoo x choa ship.. praying it stays strong till the end ๐ also we need more than 1 episode per week plsss i finish them so fast and the wait is killing me already
I hate that they gave the drama more of an open ending instead of what it was like in the webtoon, where it showed the girls after graduating high school. They obviously did the open ending in case they decide to have a s2 but I really hope not. Everything was wrapped up well and as much as I loved this drama, we don't need a s2 at all.
Honestly agreed, the majority of it felt just like every other dating show and I didn't understand the hype but after a certain partipant joined it all made sense lol. The last few eps are gold
How is people recommending sibling romance? girls ugly and the guys not even good looking. its shit.
Maybe they aren't attractive to you but for the vast majority they are. Let's not be so unnecessarily harsh with our words, your insecurity is really shining through.
That interview scene of Dahye describing the moment she realises something was going on between Hyewon and Dongjin is probably one of the rawest moments of this season. That realization that her closest friend on this program and her ex of 13 years had feelings for each other would've been so painful, but the fact that she could say "they look great together.. more than me" speaks volumes about her character and maturity. She is such a great person, I wish the best for her.
i'm curious, do they film each episode a week before airing or all episodes are done filming a while back and…
All the actual scenes with the contestants was done filming months ago, but every week the panelists watch the new episodes and give their commentary. The panelists are only seeing the content roughly a week before us I believe.
Beginning couple pairings rarely ever last till the end but I am so rooting for Choa & Yongwoo, there's a maturity they both have from being the eldest sibling and carrying more burdens. Plus Yongwoo and Cheolhyun get along so well, he'd be a great brother-in-law lol.
Honestly, watching My Sibling's Romance is like a healing break from all the tension and drama in this one. Highly recommend to anyone watching TL, it's like Transit Love's happier sibling.
