I cant believe adult writers have actually agreed to pass a plot where the female lead is listening the male lead…
agreed i didn't like how she decided to believe him after CLEARLY hearing such a strong scary lie, and only afterwards asked more questions to find out he's actually innocent.
with the way things are going, it doesnt seem like the FL will regain her powers in the final ep, which is a shame. i don't get why she can't live happily with her power, instead of finally being a 'normal person' like the writers are telling us through the ML. also now she has to rely on making income through that tarot cafe even though it gets almost no customers
I kinda wished the drama stuck to the FL's ability to seek out lies and her clients and their stories. That what…
agreed with everything you said. the first few eps were amazing because it focused on the FL's ability so much but as the episodes continued it felt like it was being pushed to the side to focus on the ML who, despite having the plotline of being a murder suspect, isn't really interesting
not sure if they address this (im on ep16) but does anyone know why master xue is physically a young child? they show us that he and ziyu knew each other as young kids so that means they must be around the same age but master xue's only seems to have physically aged a bit
is it just me or does Gong Yuan Zhi act like he in love with his own brother. anyone that wants or has his brothers…
Probably because Shangjue took him in as his brother after Yuanzhi lost his family and he didn't have anyone else care for him. So he became extremely loyal to him. He's just used to being Shangjue's No.1 person and confidant so seeing someone else also have Shangjue's attention when Shangjue usually doesn't care about anyone would no doubt make him jealous but that 100% doesnt make it a romantic thing
So we find out that the book about the pregnancy being full term was for GSJ's mother and she was pregnant around the same time as GZY's mum. Since the baby was full term and no other complications were noted in the book we can assume the baby was born alive, so there's a Jue kid wandering about that's around the same age as GZY. Where is this Jue kid?? Are they gonna address it at all or complete forget about that subplot?
for all the immature fans of the original giving a low rating on purpose, this won't stop this drama from being…
if this becomes the most famous version that's 100% because it's korean. no other reason. because no matter how hard they try, it won't hold a candle to the original. so it's nothing great to brag about if the only reason this drama becomes more popular is because it's a korean production. if the acting and storyline was better, it being the 'famous version' would be more acceptable but that's not the case. the korean version hasn't improved the original's in any way. it only is getting more attention because it's korean.
As a person who have tried to watch the original like 2-3 times but don't know why every time I was asleep in…
i, like you and the other replies, found ep 1 of the original very hard to get through. it took me 3 tries only because everyone really loved this drama so i tried to push through and see what was so great about it. after ep 3/4 was when it started getting good, and for me it got REALLY good. i suggest you give it another try because it really is an amazing drama.
I cried sobbing throwing up while watching episode 10. This is the first time I cried until my nose was running…
According to history the prince only returned home after 3 years so she believed he was dead for that entire time. I think that's a long enough time for her to move on and continue with her life
Funny how a lot of people dislike gilchae for her actions in ep 10 but for me it was the opposite. I was more upset with janghyun. It's probably because throughout eps 1-9 I saw janghyun as almost perfect, I never disagreed with anything he did because he's so smart and charming but ep 10 did bring out more of his flaws. I just didn't like how he was giving gilchae an ultimatum, telling her to abandon everyone she loves just for him or he'll never see her again. He knew at that point that she did love him, so why would he tell her that he'll leave her completely if she doesn't run away with him? Didn't he know how much that would affect her as a noblewoman if she eloped from her marriage? It just felt too much. And I am glad that gilchae ended up returning to her loved ones because frankly that was the right thing to do. She can't just abandon her family and ruin her reputation for a man that comes and goes like the wind.
I can't wait for them to meet again in part 2 at a time when they both are emotionally mature enough to respect each others limits and obligations and love each other without these obstacles in between them.
