trust me i miss the badass assassin naksu as much as you do, but the current naksu we have in s2 doesn't have her memories so she doesnt have the trauma and cold-heartedness that she used to have. she used to be a literal assassin who killed people all the time, so of course she would be mean and bite back at mistreatment but this current naksu has been locked up and hidden from the outside world by the person she believes is her mother. how can she hurt her own mother's feelings? just imagine this is the happy sweet naksu we would have if she didn't have all that trauma.

kind of an unpopular opinion but i lowkey didn't feel the romance between the leads in s1. yes there was chemistry, but it didn't feel romantic, it felt more friendly/platonic. like a mentor and mentee. but jaewook and younjung's chemistry is on another level, you can feel the tension with them simply looking at each other. it's a shame younjung's naksu is only here for 10 eps.

basically it's about two college classmates majoring in computer science and the development of their relationship from enemies to friends to lovers. they team up together to do programming contests/projects and in the last year of college, they decide to start a company together. because the ML is very smart, the company already has a lot of potential to be successful.
but then something occurs which causes the ML to go to jail for 3 years, and while he's in jail one of his friends betrays him and takes over his company. after 3 years, the ML and FL work together against their old friend to take back their company.

finally finished it yesterday and even though the ending closed everything well and left no loose threads, i already miss li xun and zhu yun :( this is defo one of my favs dramas of 2022
