imho conflict alone is not the problem why people get frustrated. Most of the time whats missing is balance or so to speak, a vent to let out the frustration for the viewer. It doesn't have to be anything big, small things are already enough. But most cdramas fail to deliver that vent... And that happens here too, later episodes. That puts down the rating and the frustration build up + viewers have to wait for further episodes, while staying in that frustrating state.
but ep12 was worth all, omg ;-) I wished we had stuff like that also in cdramas, welp censorship
btw Love triagle is really heavy.. cuz as usual FL is naive regarding 2MLs feelings and intentions.. No matter what Vivian Sung is stunning, amazing actress, so good !! Marcus Chang is dam hot !

both realize around ep 28-30 ( i did forget ) but another missunderstanding happens ( cuz FL is 24/7 on 2MLs ass, just to close to him, beyond "just friends" ) and ML sees it and leaves .. i think for about 2-3 years abroad.. he comes back and we get last two eps main leads on screen, but only in the last episode they get together .. thats it.. :/ Like they go full in with 36 eps.. slow burn romance, sorry snail romance, if you can call it romance and give us 1 episode couple time, smh.. it should have been 40 eps
