Man yall are gonna really hate me for this , but I really like lanxiang and scholar Han together , they dont have a power dynamic difference , he is clearly capable , he would love her and treat her well , they have the mutual intellectual and respect a couple should have .

it felt so out of place that a random ass girl standing on the ledge , and lu xixiao randomly appearing on the same ledge to save her without any explanation only to use this scene as a plot device for both the leads to gather info about each other's childhood , like what in the world is this writing , atleast they could have have shown the girl actually having interaction with leads in school days for the viewers to even care about her

Man episode 9 was such a heartwarming episode , its gonna hurt so good if the relationship will break after these adorable moments , but I am all up for the angst . And honestly , I neither admire the fl nor feel bad for the ml , I only watch them as a viewer . While its true , she is morally in the grey zone for kinda "using " him but I really don't see from her actions that she actively trying to sabotage the male lead , she really is just being a good friend and a nice person to him as of now . And that is just her character , I mean how else the drama would be so interesting , if people wanna see happy people , getting together with no misunderstandings then watch WIFTY . Bro the ml is whipped , I mean whatever is coming for him is on him , he also has a bit of idea that Zhou Wan is a bit shady woman , but he still is drawn to her , proceeds to spend time with her . in all honesty this doesn't feel like the limit of her hurting him enough ?! like why is he THAT SAD bro you have known her for like a month , if this is the BIG HURT everyone is talking about then honestly its not that impactful , they have hardly developed a very deep relationship , that even I as a viewer dont feel that bad for the ml , if it was after this that the male lead says " dont show your face infront of me again otherwise I will make you cry " then at this point in narrative thats just not it .
