Its literary so funny that in the recent dramas of the same type the FL story would be so interesting but almost all the ml would have the same arc that is they just have to be perfect 101, know everything , would just be there for fun but happen to just save fl everytime and yes that unforgettable childhood trauma
one thing which bothers me is that has NO ONE in the town seen MR SHEN'S wife ...okay even if shen and his family make themselves understand that its li ...how the heck no one in the town knows her ...did she not leave the house at all secondly ..in the series she at least had to be married for 2 three years ...even the actress doesn't look that young ..how is everyone buying she is a 20 year old ...I don't have any problem with older women younger man trope but this drama is trying to make me buy into the fact the girl is just 20 ...The ml looks at least 10 yrs younger ...oh wait I just checked he actually is
one thing i dont understand how the heck the FL became THAT RICH by jus selling tanghulu thingy FOR ONLY SIX MONTHS ( timeline from preggo aunt bellly) ...i mean even if she is very good , does any business take on that fast that you are able to buy a house in town , 3 shops near river, employ 100s of servants and a freaking restaurant ...Funny to me lol
In today's episode the parallel between fudong's cooking and security people killing prince's guard was goddam a chef's kiss (pun intended haha) ...Really the best episode so far ...although the make up on ML looks very cakey but still everything else is really good

i dont think one can easily classify this drama by dividing it into lighter and heavier tones because up until now it maintains a very dynamic pacing ....its more like Fl runs into a problem , thinks of a solution and solves it , and this has become the norm ...so if u consider running into problems as heavier (for me it wasn't) then you might like it ...Unlike LLTG where there is a clear transition between lighter and heavier tones ..this drama isn't like that
