The last episode seemed spliced like wtf! The ending was even more wtf! I mean did you really have to write that juvenility into an already messily edited drama! What's with the look-alike children! Seriously! But still, I liked it (not that weird children part) and wish to re-watch it. The two main leads are too fabulous for a one-time-watch.
I always thought that C-dramas are unnecessarily long and need editing but not like this. This too could have been shorter without cutting out important scenes or making it so jumbly. But I hear the whole show was rushed due to the urgency of finishing it before historical drama ban in China. What can you say! I think, it's a waste of resources and also pain in the behind for Drama-lovers. However, we surely learn from this drama (and many others) that loving someone/thing means enduring pain for them/it. eh!

Yaaas! the bts videos on YT are life! I keep watching them. Their chemistry is so lit (literally on fire). And I love Bai Lu's laugh. So natural!
If it were not for the amazing leads and their perfect acting and chemistry and their love story and Dai Xu (that's a lot of ands), I would have exited this crap of an editing-work a long time ago. It's giving me whiplash.

The soompi article says that the date has been TENTATIVELY set on September. Not confirmed yet. Who knows it could be pushed yet further like it's been for a year. Kill me already!
HOLY MOTHER OF DEMONS! I am in love with Chen Lan so deep! Get me a man who can love like that. This is the most fantastical element of this fantasy drama. A person like that doesn't exist in reality.
Off course, the shitty editors edited the most beautiful kissing scenes shittily and the channels further snipped them. No doubt only the constipated kissing scenes can be scene in the dramas. Poor actors work so hard in one of the more difficult scenes of Asian Dramas aka kiss (huge deal), which gets chopped and waisted on the way to us. They even cut the scene where Chen Lan put the necklace on Zhao Yao when she was unconscious. I would still be wondering if I didn't see it before on an YT video.

Are you saying the editing is gonna get even worse. It's already pretty bad. I am at episode 24 and 19 and 20 ended in the middle of a scene that didn't continue in the next episodes.
I am so mad at the production for underpaying the editing team, 'cause I don't see any other reason for the crappy editing. I have never experienced this kinda blotchy editing before. This drama has so much potential that is getting ruined by it.
Both the leads are gorgeous and talented. Tell me if you know, how's it doing in terms of popularity? Coz if it's not doing absolutely fabulous, I am so gonna curse whoever is responsible for the shitty editing. Sorry for the rant!
