but FL choose ML because of his looks and all of her ancestors are same (ugly female, beautiful male, no ugly male in her family), looks like drama message is "be a hypocrite".
People seems to hate ML because he like beautiful people but FL like ML because of his beauty but no one seems to hate her.
Why didn't you hire some dark skin toned BBW actress if you try fight against the "society norm beauty standards"?
FL date everyone she come across and she immediately moved to new guy after last one ended while "ML" twiddling thumbs and watching this for whooping 17 years.
Like many people pointed it out, she was/is never liked the ML as romantic partner.
Like FL mother said "FL ran out of people to date" and FL lead know that her ex will cheat again so she settled down with the safest and last choice.
If ML never planned to leave her, She would continue the cycle until the end of time.

Mafia gang raped her and filmed it using as a blackmail material entire show, this is the base plot line. It's shows as comedic act and later in the story main mafia guy like the FL friend.
I was so shocked to find out it written by a women (Do Hyun Jung), Seems like every one of this writer's drama contains rape, she really need some psychiatric help.
Not sure it's the acting or characterization but FL seems awfully cheerful for someone who got gangraped and being under mafia leash entire drama, her fake cries are worst.
I had sympathy for the FL until she start stealing from ML(he helped her numerous times before) house and try steal SFL boyfriend.
First half is okey but FL has only had "let me see your manger" expression entire drama, No romance at all, FL is more evil compared to other "bad guys" .
SFM (anchor) , mother in law, ML acting was very natural.
Similar to Kdrama about time but 1000times better than that, you can see the sadness behind the fake smiles, 10/10.
J dramas always able to pull that human element ( people don't wear full makeups/designer cloths/latest watch every scenes while not rich, no chaebol cold ML, no love hexagon, parents care about the child, no piggy back ect )

Shy younger brother just there during entire manga and he takes the incentive during last chapter, story quite messy from the answers i got but seems like its very popular manga.

Brother always comes between every time Izumi attempt to be with the FL and FL is super wishy-washy, Brother cheated on his GF. FL is having relationship with both of the brothers (hence the title - brother trap).
Unless you're in to bad guy forcing his self in to "pseudo-naive" FL and ML is too soft/kind plot , don't bother with the show.

Yamato is the typical "Bad boy" who does sexual assault is part of this genre. FL is always ends up with /r/niceguy in the end after all the fun ends.
in manga, FL and yamato spend 99% time, FL ends up Izumi at few panels so i guess she ends up with him at the last 5min in the drama.

So much irony in the show, people around him only care about his money but everyone call him "selfish and only care about money".
