Autism is spectrum but IMO They made FL on attorney woo more like an cute infant rather than autistic person, everything she does is cute or smart, you know its not a case in IRL if you know any autistic person.
They romanticized autism to the point people start adding "autistic" to their twitter profile after watching that drama.
silver lining is that more exposure and more people donate to the cause .
Good Doctor is not without faults but hundred times better than woo.

well, most people are hypocrites, people like to associate with them with noble causes like equality but they don't like change anything. so shows talks about beauty/autiusm/other-illness/age ect brings easy profit.
when was the last time you saw a non-pale white or not-skinny or disabled FL in K-drama?
I don't like to be negative about people appearance but Lee Shin character was total miscast.
She supposed to be a strong character and with lots of emotional depth but there are no reaction in her face (not talking about stoic or poker face). Her face muscles doesn't move at all seems very uncanny, people watched with me legit freaked out. we had to skip all of her scenes.
Also this is one of the show that support cast shines more than main protagonists, both Lee yoo-mi and Yang dong-geun characters and their stories are 10/10.
Show starts good but around 14 its gets super dumb.
I think by age and experience they are a good match. But it is how childish she is, plus her appearance that matches…
I don't try to find deeper meaning in dramas. I watch all kind of stupid shows but once in a while some shows gives eerie feeling despite its cheerful presentation, this is one of them.

Even at the end she never told her coworkers about their relationship, to me she never was comfortable in her relationship.
Her dream to get full time job so he was indirectly using that as weakness since he had authority/power to do that, maybe she is getting along to get the job. Remember her co-workers always encourage to be his "Mrs" since the first meeting so she can get a full time job.
Also very little info about "sunbae" life look outside of his job , his character seems very fake compared to side characters.
I watched the "sunbae" actor" Lee Joon Hyuk" in other dramas, he is really good actor writers are the one messed up here.
They should removed the romance and goes with the mentor style story.

They should pushed that crippled asshole out of the building with his wheelchair or hand over to police for kidnaping, involuntary imprisonment, manipulation , identify theft, emotional damage over 10 years.
Really feels bad for the kid and mom, especially the kid, they both developed stockholm syndrome and she thanks that kidnapper for rising her son and feeding them ( she worked multiple jobs for the money and took care of him btw).
When the son washes the kidnapper feet after mom left i almost threw the remote at the TV, whomever puts the angel music for kidnapper should get fired.
People sympathizing with the kidnapper y’all need some real help.
People are going to prison for smallest mistakes, and imprison someone over 10 year shouldn't be glossed over.

There is a large fanbase for these kind of manga (you can find some of them in below replies) what you considered bad is considered good by this fanbase. so i don't think its writers fault.

Just like other people point it out, "romance " scenes are too disturbing to watch.
Actress looks extremely uncomfortable and have repulsed look on her face during these scenes (who knows she could be under shady contract) .

This drama feels like J-drama high on human element and less cliches also one of the few drama that makes your blood boil.

ML is dog turd rating high due to other characters.
Last few episodes are meh but "Mok Ji Won" is the ⭐ of this show.
