On episode 20. Still excellent in every respect as far as I am concerned. What on Earth made people rate this…
I believe those were YZ antifans at work, and/or some out for mischief. YZ and the cast deserve every acclaim they can get for this superb drama which paid much attention to craftsmanship in minute detail. Bravo!
if anyone wanted to know for sure if this was a happy ending. All on Weibo have been deleted scenes. Li Zhen and…
You're right. It was a pity they had to cut those scenes. I think it was due to too many tradition-breaking development, for instance, LWQ married into LZ's fam, for one. But I though that was a no-brainer since he was alone and practically an orphan anyway, and he had his aunt's blessings as well (who chose to remain as the ID given to her after she was rescued from that fire).
Some reviews and the MDL rating are quite off (out of misunderstanding or mischief/antifans) for The Heir, IMO. It's a must-watch, IMO, if not for YZ, or for the main couple YZ+EH, or for the excellent production team (look at their portfolio), at least for the culture and craftmanship of ink-making. Eye-opening and enlightening. I loved it all, and loved the interaction and unique chemistry presented by our main couple, LZ and LWQ. It's been a long time since I was last eager for every upload and eager for each plot development. I thought the PD/production had it just right, for much of it. So good, it's now worth a rewatch whenever there's a good-drama drought.
Loving this drama a lot. Hope it holds up well till the end. YZ and EH should team up again. They're great together. The Tians should bite the dust soon. especially TBC and dad --- ingrates.

Thanks for your update. Please keep them coming :)
