It was really cute. I usually skip these back stories but their love story was really sweet and cute.

In a refreshing twist on the typical narrative arc, the production dedicate an entire episode to what comes after the climactic showdown. It’s great because you get to see how everyone’s doing once the problem’s sorted out. It adds more depth to the story and keeps you hooked even after it’s over.

Take her review with a grain of salt, or else you'll miss out on a lot of good dramas. Some of the dramas that she hails as a gold mine, I literally fell asleep watching.

I was turned off by the CGI in the first episode as well. Generally, I don’t like too much green screen in a drama and prefer they shoot outside. However, the story of this drama is great, and some parts of the CGI are not too bad. I recommend watching it and just overlooking that part.

Yes. In the novel, Jin Niangzi likes girls, so she was interested in Shen Li. Xing Zhi also knew about this. So, Xing Zhi got jealous because she kept flirting with Shen Li.

I'm unsure if this is the correct interpretation, but when ZY awakened his subconscious, he selected the snake demon, leading me to believe that it might be his true love.

To me the ending is not tragic but hopeful. It’s worth it.

I’m with you on that. Can’t focus on anything else. I'm watching 'Journey to Love,' and I'm at the part where both leads confessed their feelings to each other, but I feel nothing! It's because my mind is filled with Xing Zhi and Shen Li atm.

This drama has utterly consumed me, leaving me unable to focus on the other dramas I’m currently watching. I’m also refusing to start a new drama, "In Blossom," until I finish this one. It's my fault for starting this drama while it’s still airing. Please just give me all the episodes already!!! 😭
