I'm pretty excited to see the 3rd couple too, I just saw them in intro and ending remarks. I wanna know what's their purpose on the show, and if they had chemistry just like our 2 couples. It looks like the short-haired girl is Zhi Xiao and San San's friend. ^^
I think the drama already clearly showed us in the first episodes why it will definitely be Zhi Xiao whom Gu Wei will want to be with, over Gao Xi. Gao Xi just nag at him when Gu Wei hesitated to have more surgeries and wants to transfer to other department, that's why it's harder for him to open up to her. Gao Xi just thought he's being stubborn, didn't try to put herself on his shoes, didn't ask him his reason, and did a lot of things for him to stay just because she thinks that's what is right for him. Meanwhile after Zhi Xiao got to know more Gu Wei and desperately want him to be her father's surgeon, she did a lot of effort to win his favor but still didn't force him to do the surgery when she realized that her gifts are not the problem then asked what's the reason. In short, Gao Xi and Gu Wei are coleagues for a long time already that's why it's normal for people to think they will understand each other more, but Gao Xi is focused on her feelings that she failed to see what Gu Wei actually wants. Then when Zhi Xiao and Gu Wei is together at the rooftop, they had a proper conversation without putting each other in pressure which caused a mutual understanding, like what I've said before. I think that's why he fall for her.
In the last part of Ep11 and first part of Ep12, the drama showed us the importance of opening-up to the people around you, communicating, and understanding to know more about each other's perspective to have a healthier relationship. I think Seung Wan is so ahead of her time, like girl we could never-! She's such a role model, a standard. And how can Hee Do be so cute like that?! Yi Jin obviously know what's going on too 😂 and I love how he protects her, watches her grow and stays by Hee Do's side. I'M IN-LOVE.
After this episode, I've totally made up my mind to rate this a 9.5/10 - that was the highest I gave to the dramas which hits different to me and had a special place in my heart. Everything about this show is just WOW, as of now I can't even think of any which I can use to point out the flaw of this show 😂. It's so near to perfection, and I think the 9/10 overall ratings here in MDL isn't even exaggerated or you can call as 'overrated'.
I started watching this drama exactly 1 week before the ending episode, and I already finished up to 9/14 the day after ... But I got spoiled in TikTok (and in this comment section haha) about what happened in the later episodes, so I put it on-hold for a while. Just wanna know if it has a happy ending?
Xiao Zhan being in-love is literally one of the best things I've ever seen in my dramaddict life. I'm usually not into MLs because I point my eyes into FLs more but he just hits different. 💅🏻
The relationships are all so complicated in this drama, I'd say this is not for everyone. I appreciate what the drama gave us, but maybe because it tackles about mature relationships, it doesn't suit well with me. At times I find myself enjoying this, but at times I find it draggy then I'll feel bored and can't understand some of the character's actions and decisions. I don't wanna pretend I'm mature enough to understand this, so here I am saying the problems I encounter while continuing to watch every episode haha. Though, still thankful that a lot of things were explained to us and there are still some characters where we find relatable and realistic, so their actions and decisions while dealing with their current situations made sense to me. Hopefully, it will be satisfying to me too just like others who liked the drama after I've watched the latest episodes as I heard that was the best episode so far.
I'm so glad to see that we got to know more about what HD's mom is thinking all this time. And I'm happy for YR and JW as they took a step-forward in their relationship, but I feel sorry for SW - idk but I think what she said in the broadcasting room is actually about JW. We got to see more of HD and YJ's interaction and seeing them happily together somehow kept me away from my wild imaginations of what might happen in the future.
On MDL all c-dramas with popular actors had same fate ))
So true. Though I haven't commented anything regarding with this kind of issue in other dramas before, this time I just can't hold myself back. >< We'll just have faith on the drama then, and see how it goes ...
