i think people can get really weird about bromance and bl shows. i understand the history behind why “bromance” as a label can feel uncomfortable or even dismissive, but sometimes the way it gets applied now feels just as strange.
there are shows that aren’t even “implicitly” queer or marketed as bl, but the relationship between the characters is clearly written with emotional depth, chemistry, meaningful conversations, and sometimes even confessions, yet because there’s no kiss or physical contact, people reduce it to “just friendship” and accuse it of queerbaiting and that feels a bit absurd to me like, you’re watching the tension, the connection, the way they talk to each other, the way the story frames their bond, but since there’s no kiss, suddenly it’s nothing, they’re just friends; meanwhile, there are plenty of heterosexual shows where there’s little to no physical affection, and no one questions whether they’re “just friends”.
it’s like saying stay with me or a shoulder to cry on aren’t bl just because there’s no kissing, even though the narrative is full of romantic and explicit emotional confessions; i know this is a much more complex conversation than this, and i’m sure there’s a lot of context and history behind why people feel strongly about it. honestly, i’m not even sure where i fully stand on the bromance debate myself, sometimes i agree with the criticism, sometimes i don’t. it really depends. at the end of the day i just like to enjoy shows and stories for what they are without overthinking them too much
I have never seen a show this bad take itself so seriously as a high class work of art. This shit thinks it’s…
i thought i was the only one who didn't quite understand the plot and the many characters they keep introducing... i'm feeling lost cause i kind of liked it better after today's episodes but at the same time i feel frustrated that i don't really know what im watching.

i was just thinking the same thing, there's literally a picture of them kissing and nothing for the other one idk why people think the friend has a chance¿
i honestly enjoyed this show sm, i finished it in 5 days a few months ago and im sure i could've done it before but i wanted to "enjoy" it a little bit longer before starting second season. i fell completely in love with tan jianci and his character
LOVE LOVE LOVE; love this show sm, im a simple girl and i get excited with simple things, i don't go around looking for too many plot twists or too much drama and i don't go around believing im such an expert in dramas so, this was really good. i enjoyed it so much, it had me excited, sad, amazed and surprised too. i really liked the cases they did and the stories were really cool. i think my favorite episodes were 4 and 5, loved the storyline there.
