Well in some ways, SHM got some karma back at him - via his own family - after Xu Yan told the full truth to his parents directly - and of course the kid (so-called brother/son) figured out too and was not happy about it either. Well after watching ep 12 today - looks like Fang Lei may be actually the one who killed her sister - and make it sound like she died in an accident while diving. Because base on the episode - she made Shen Hao Ming not be able to celebrate his wife's bday and threaten him by saying "I'll die and go to my sister" - preventing him from leaving her - cause technically I believe that she's really mental ill and messed up - needs to go to the mental hospital jail instead of annoying him all the time - because one of the sentences that she (Fang Lei said - was why couldn't you wait for me to return?!?) - and he clearly show no love interest in her - yet - really there needs to be full boundaries away from her (who is very toxic and mentally unstable mindset). When we see HaoMing have a flashback in the washroom after getting home to his wife -- he obviously must've lost his ex-wife there and ask Fang Lei what had happened to her sister - how did she end up dying - looking at her facial expression - she show no care/proper mourning/heartbroken emotions on her face - when explaining the so-called details to him -- to me, this signifies that she may be the one who killed her own sister out of jealousy - because all she wants is him (HaoMing) to herself. She'll (Fang Lei) want to do anything to destroy others who gets in her way of being with him.
Therefore, I hope that HaoMing realizes that quickly and put her into a mental hospital jail - so that she won't cause harm to the FL or him or others too.

After watching the upcoming episode preview of 15 & 16 today, their pending divorce is going to happen in ep 15 - b/c she can't handle him anymore, rumors circulating around them both - and looks like she'll lose her broadcasting/new anchor job because of all the mess - and I'm curious who spread those news to her supervisor about it - my guess it's Sun Si Wei again or Fang Lei or her so-called biological parents -- whoever it is - this news got out - Xu Yan - is being told that there's rumors of her and her husband's trouble relationship/possible divorce looming over them both. That pushed her to decide to divorce him that night - and we hear him threatening her that if she leaves him, she'll lose everything that then "Shen family" gave to her - but obviously I see her eventually don't want any of those things at all. The fight they had in the ep 14 trailer already was getting to the point of "the tip of the iceberg" really to break real hard and fall apart - they'll finally fight/argue with one another - him blaming her for everything - but in actual fact most of it was his fault too - he's not being clean slate with his background too. Also, we don't see much of his son/brother anymore in drama for now too.
As well in ep 11 & 12 - we see her sense something was off a few times throughout the drama - she's wondering how did that Zhu guy suddenly end up in jail and her sister's ex-bf too - abrupt departure and the further we watch in terms of the previews - suddenly her sister's ex-bf is back again - causing annoyance and trouble too. Sigh.
We then see in ep 16 she's (Xu Yan) on her own doing the low side of work - livestreaming to sell goods (food online) - trying to make a living on her own - and on-the-other-side of the picture - after their split (Xu Yan and HaoMing) - HaoMing is seen to be in a major meeting of being voted in favor or not in favor to take over his dad's company?!?
Backtracking to ep 12 - also - I feel like HaoMing's dealings aren't completely clean too - cause the phone call he had while heading to the banquet - doesn't seem like a normal one either too.

Both males (main ML and 2nd ML) are toxic and dangerous so to speak - as well as the 2 FL (the one who keeps on stalking the ML - Fang Lei) plus the annoying coworker of the FL's at her workplace - Sun Si Wei. Snobbish ASF person - all 4 of them should go to jail - as for the FL her life has never been perfect - because her biological parents - never been caring of her at all. Their focus was always on her older sister - and she was ignored - just how she explained it in ep 10 - about the so-called little brother of Haoming's (but in actual fact it's his son). That's why she was able to related well with the so-called little brother of Haoming and change the perspective/outlook of Haoming's parents and him too.
