my final thought on this is that i really dislike love triangles when the second person's entire existence is based around the lead just to prove that the lead is hot and desirable. and the second lead doesn't have their own thoughts, personality, or storyline despite having half the screentime, it's just them glazing the lead. HOWEVER, with ajeong, i feel like she's fully characterized as a person (less than the actual leads, but that's expected, she's still fleshed out) so even with the love triangle situation, i really like her. jaeyeol also had his own thing going on in the first six eps, and even though now they're focusing on the love line mainly, there's still an actual story there and not just "i want inah bc we were childhood friends" or whatever it is 2nd leads usually do.

watching ep 6 and the uncle is the most sensible person in this story. you're a SOCIAL WORKER in SOUTH KOREA and you don't see what's wrong with a man killing his sick wife and you're framing it as a euthanasia situation? a murder-suicide? just odd

and why didn’t she deserve the ml?

well the root of most romcom discourse is misogyny, so i'm going to assume it's the same people who like to hate whenever a woman does anything and then also hate when a woman does the opposite thing ❤️

this is going to sound callous, but ko min soo was out there raping/attempting to rape a woman every single day. the entire female cast has been sexually assaulted by him at one point, and that's not an exaggeration. meanwhile, the killer killed only two women in that whole time and a third person thirty years later. if we're being for real, ko min soo being jailed saved more women than if they got the actual killer lol. i'm only bringing this up bc of the storyline where they act like ko misook was hitler for lying about it and "preventing justice" or whatever.
