It's actually the opposite how they handled the break-up. Everyone surrounding Choi Ung witnessed how he was in pain and had a downfall. On the other hand, Yeon Su handled it by herself showing everyone she's alright but deep inside it killed her too.

Also, I love how romance unfolds in this drama. Another reason to fall in love with Choi Woo Sik once again.

I totally agree with the character development thing. We needed backstories not only from the leads but all of them. Yet they only showed Andrew's. There is no character justification also the writing had so many loopholes.
